Tina and Tanav's exotic adventure

Tina was seven, curious and full of energy. Her brother Tanav, four years older, liked to act like the “guide,” though he often ended up laughing at her funny questions.

The holidays had just begun, and their parents planned a trip around the city. That morning, Tina and Tanav shared breakfast with their school friends — giggles over buttered toast, juice, and pancakes filled the table. Everyone packed snacks and maps, ready for adventure. Near the backyard Mum and Dad chatted happily with the neighbors while the kids compared backpacks. Soon, the family and friends set off together.

The first stop was the crowded market. Tina’s eyes sparkled at the colorful stalls, while Tanav explained the names of fruits and spices like a tour guide. Their friends tried street snacks, and Mum bought fresh pancakes to share.

Next came the tall clock tower. Tanav turned his stopwatch on and waited near the tower . Their friends joined in, and kept looking at the tower.  Meanwhile , everyone reached and dad pointed out the view from the top .

By afternoon, they reached the park near the river. Tina chased seagulls (Thay could peck her and cause scrathes so....) , Tanav tried to keep her “SAFE,” and their friends joined in the fun. Mum smiled, watching the children run, while Dad admired boats moving by.

As the sun set , the family and friends gathered at a cozy resturaunt. Seaweed , pork ,  juice, and stories filled the table. Tina leaned against Tanav, whispering, “This was the best adventure.” He did not react , pretending to be serious, but his eyes sparkled with the same joy.
