Tilak and his bravery
Tilak and his bravery
On a Sunday morning, Tilak woke up, took a bath, and sat on the sofa. His mum asked him to eat breakfast and finish his holiday homework, but Tilak pleaded to play first, promising to study later.
After a few minutes, she agreed, and Tilak quickly ate before running to the park. There he met his friends, and while they were talking, a man shouted as two boys snatched his bag and tried to escape.
Tilak stepped forward bravely. He remembered his karate practice and blocked their way. One thief tried to push him, but Tilak moved fast and used a simple karate kick to stop him.
The other thief dropped the bag when Tilak stood firm with his hands ready. Chocky barked loudly, and Anukul clapped for him as the thieves ran away.
The man thanked Tilak for his bravery, and his friends looked at him with pride. Tilak smiled, knowing that his karate had helped him protect someone, and that even a normal Sunday could turn into a moment of courage.
Later that evening, Tilak told his mum what had happened. She was proud of him and reminded him that courage is important, but so is study. Tilak nodded, promising to finish his homework, while Chocky slept beside him, still watching over his big hero.
