Japan is an island country in East Asia, located in the northwest Pacific Ocean. It is bordered on the west by the Sea of Japan and extends from the Sea of Okhotsk in the north toward the East China Sea and Taiwan in the south.

Japan is the eleventh most populous country in the world, as well as one of the most densely populated and urbanized. About three-fourths of the country's terrain is mountainous, concentrating its population of 125.48 million on narrow coastal plains.

This story relates to ancient times when Japan was not so developed. Once it was attacked by a much stronger enemy. The enemy forces were eight times more than their army!

The Commander-in-chief of the Japanese army saw that his army was not mentally prepared to take on a much larger army. He asked one of his men whom he randomly selected, to come forward.

He then said that the enemy forces were much larger than their units. However, he had a coin that had never told the wrong prediction! Whenever he was in a dilemma, he used to toss his coin. If it was headed he proceeded but if it was a tail then he knew that he would lose. Hence he never continued that project whenever it was a tail!

He took out the coin from his pocket and gave it to his man. He said that if it was a Heads then they would win and hence go forward and fight with the enemy with all their might!

And if it would be tails, then they would lose and therefore surrender!

The man tossed!

All the eyes were on the coin!

Heads !! Yes, it was a Heads!

There were loud cheers and rejoicing in the army. Everyone now fought with renewed vigor and enthusiasm. After all, they knew that they would win!

And that was the end result as well! Japan won and defeated a much stronger enemy!

After the war, a soldier came up to the Commander-in-chief and said that the latter's coin had told about the results beforehand!

The Commander-in-chief looked in the eyes of his soldier and handed over that coin to the soldier. The soldier took a look at it. And he found out that it had Heads on both sides of the coin!

The Commander-in-chief said that it was them, the soldiers who fought bravely and won the war, and not the coin! The soldier understood it and saluted the Commander-in,-chief.
