Elections! The unnamed national festival of our country! A similar, festive time was going on through nation, the biggest one, The Loksabha elections.

That day, when I was passing by the market, my ears welcomed huge shouting noise. Of curiosity, I turned back and saw two guys were screaming at each other.

Passers nearby were just ignoring and get going. I went near to them. Both of them were having a heated debate on who will elections and which party is best.. Bla... Bla... Bla...

In between, they were giving threats to each other.

Don't know why, I felt like I should mediate and settle them out. So I approached to both of them and tried to calm them down. But none of them was ready to listen me.

My blood pressure shot up as all my efforts were in vain and I lose my control and slapped one of them.

Newton told, Every action has equal and opposite reaction. Same happened to me, but with a twist. As a reaction to my slap, I too received a tight slap but not from the one whom I slapped, but from the other person.

That was a shocker for me! Now, I reacted and gave him back a tight slap. This time the first person whom I slapped reacted and gave me slap.

I was wondering what was going on? And then both of them unitedly, started slapping me turn by turn. My face turned red!

It was out of my understanding, what was happening? I begged them to stop and asked them why, they together were beating me whereas few minutes back they were fighting with each other?

Out of nowhere, one more person came and slapped me. I was now regretting why did I interfered. The person then told me,

" How dare you to interrupt? You ruined our programme. These two guys were acting for our election special film. You Idiot! Look at the cameras there" He pointed me, to cameras all over the building near by.

Soon, I was a laughing stock in the market. Everyone laughed at me and soon dispersed.

That day I learnt that, never interfere in anyone's issue, no matter what.

All that glitters is not gold, and

All that dark is not coal!
