The Power of Prayer

Once a bar opened just opposite a big and renowned Church. Despite many protests the bar became functional as the bar owner had strong political links!

The priests in the Church prayed daily for the bar to close down. This was known to the bar owner, but he continued functioning his bar!

After a year, at night time when the bar was closed, a lightening struck the bar and destroyed it!

The bar owner sued the Church authorities for the destruction of his bar because it was an action due to their prayer.

The Church authorities however denied all these allegations as baseless, however admitted to praying for the bar's closing!

The judge commented - 'It is a difficult case to decide! As on one side is a bar owner who believes in the power of prayers! And on the opposite side is an entire Church that does not believe in it!'.
