THE EXOTIC LOVE

7:30 AM:

Looking at the dark clouds outside the windows of hostel and the pleasant climate, Vinay Krishna looked at Sai Adhithya. Silent for a while, he asked him: "Adhithya."

Before he could ask something to him, there's a sudden thunderstorm in the clouds. Then, a heavy downpour for five hours. Looking at the rain, Vinay asked him: "Adhithya. What you feel by seeing this rain?"

Thinking a while, he replied looking at the rain droplets: "Buddy. I like it when it rains hard. It sounds like white noise everywhere, which is like silence but not empty."

After enjoying the rain, Vinay asked Adhithya to join the classes fast. Since time is running. Having done with the breakfast, both the guys walk towards Department of Commerce, which had been surrounded by several students, talking and discussing at the food center. With them joins two of their classmates: Janaarth and Kathirvel. While Vinay walks without any emotions looking around the trees and bushes, Sai Adhithya's eyes look for beautiful girls. With a nasty look at their private parts, Adhithya said: "Buddy. Atmosphere is very nice da."

With an evil smile, he said: "Whenever I look at these kind of beautiful girls, I feel like drinking a Mango juice da."

"Hey. You are crossing beyond the border limit da. Are they a Mango juice for you da?"

Looking at the road, Adhithya said: "What? Am I crossing the border?" Looking at the college name straight, he further mocked: "If I cross the border, Pakistan army would kill me da Janaarth." Hearing this, Janaarth feels irritated and said: "You retch. Go and suck your girlfriend Darshini da."

Adhithya angrily knocks his shoulder and said with a pretention of laughter: "How dare you speak about her da!" Vinay laughed and stepped inside the room no. 369, which is his second-year class. Adhithya sits along with Vinay and Kathirvel, who said to him: "Story writer Adhi. Always stay with us. Then only, we can do time pass and entertainment with you."

Adhithya laughed upon hearing this and said: "You have decided right. Continue." After the first period, Adhithya asked Vinay: "Vinay. Are you coming with me to our B class?"

Vinay replied: "No da. I am not interested." However, Adhithya pulls his hands forcefully to the class for which, Vinay asked him: "Hey. Are you mad da? I said, I am unwilling to come for B class right?"

Turning to him, Adhithya laughed to which Vinay pretends like laughing, but angrily asked him: "Hey idiot. For what the fuck you are laughing at me da?"

Adhithya said: "Buddy. Just knowing our class friends alone is not enough. Knowing our neighbor is also important." As Adhithya goes inside B class, his friend Bharath warmly calls him with a gesture by telling: "Leader. Come inside the class leader. Have a seat in this bench."

Adhithya and Vinay smiled. They sit in the bench. Anbuselvan, Bharath's friend asked Adhithya: "Adhithya. Then what's special? Have you came here to see Priya?"

"You are going overboard da. I am here to introduce Vinay da." Anbuselvan, his friend Mouli, Manoj and Kiran are stunned and asked him: "Why you introduced him to us da?"

"He wanted to meet you all. That's why I introduced him to you all friends." Hearing this, Vinay looked at him in vexation, while Adhithya laughed with fear.

Bharath asked Vinay: "Vinay. Come man. Let's go out."

"Where da?" asked Vinay to which, Bharath said: "What is this da Adhi? Will he come only when we share the location ah?"

"Hey. Nothing like such da. He will come with us. You don't worry." Adhithya convince Vinay to come with them and along with them joined few more girls: Vaishnavi, Priya Darshini, Raghavarshini, Varshini and Anshika. They all goes to Barbeque restaurant at Singanallur, where Bharath have a surprise for Sai Adhithya.

"Hey. Why we have come to this place da dude?" asked Vinay to which, Bharath said: "Wait Vinay. It's a surprise for you all! 

Adhithya looked bizarre at him and asked: "Hey. Tell directly, what the surprise is da!"

Mouli laughed and applied cake in the face of Adhithya and said: "Happy birthday da Adhi!" Hearing this, Adhithya taps his head and said: "Oh god! I really forgot that it's my birthday da." Alongside his B section friends, even his classmates have gathered there to his surprise.

"Hey. Doesn't he have a style, beauty or intelligence?" asked Nikhil, Adhithya's friend.

"Where does the sickle went da?" asked Thilip Rajan, Adhithya's another friend.

"Some people, I generally don't like. I like some people for their beauty. But, whenever I see Adhithya, I like him to the core" said Kathirvel and Balasurya, to which Thilip said: "Be careful da. Then, he will do something out of uncontrollable lust!" Friends laughed. Vinay however said: "Jokes apart da. Only today he will be happier. Let's celebrate his birthday da." The friends have a huge party and celebration in the restaurant.

Sai Adhithya had been flirting with his classmates and B section girl Priya Darshini for sometimes. While, Vinay searched for Vaishnavi in the restaurant and finds her coming out of restroom, with some blood stains in her mouth.

"Hey. What happened? Some blood stains in your mouth. Did you notice it?" Vinay asked to which, she said: "I had blood vomit inside the restroom. That's why the bloodstains."

After some seconds of silence, Vaishnavi said: "By the way. I am Vaishnavi. What's your name?"

Looking for sometimes, he said: "My name is Vinay. From Meenakshipuram of Pollachi." They talk for sometimes by sitting in the seat. Vinay had been reading the book "Knight" written by Sai Adhithya about the story of undercover police officers before some months ago. Seeing it, she asked: "Oh! You read books too. That too Sai Adhithya's Knight?"

Vinay smiled and replied her: "Yes. It's his best thriller story. I think you too have read this book!"

"I often read his stories. Since, I used to see his story-poem's cover image frequently." At that time, Vinay asked her: "Vaishnavi. Do you read books?"

After thinking a while, she said: "Yeah. My favorite book is Sai Adhithya's The Exotic Love indeed." Vinay gives the book to her. Before taking a read into this story, Vaishnavi asked him: "What's the story of this book?"

"It's about a novel of a Hemorrhage-stricken girl named Anitha, Vaishnavi." When reading the story of Sai Adhithya, Vaishnavi suddenly stops and asked to Vinay: "Ok. Let's keep this story topic asides. Why can't we talk about our respective lives?"

"Oh sure. It's interesting. Who could start at first?"

"You say about yourself. Then, I will." Vaishnavi said to which, Vinay narrates about his family:

Vinay hailed from an upper-class family. His father Mahendran is a rich business entrepreneur. While, his mother Kavitha was a naïve housewife. Mahendran is loving, doting and affectionate to everyone, often helping his friends in need. Sai Adhithya is the son of Mahendran's close friend Krishnaswamy, who is a professor at National Institute of Technology.

Vinay was loving and doting to everyone until an incident shattered his whole life. His mother picked up a fight with Mahendran and eventually left from Indore, where they were staying. Henceforth, Mahendran was distraught. However, Vinay consoled his father and joined Sai Adhithya's school. He stayed with Sai Adhithya's family.

Like Vinay, Sai Adhithya's father too suffered same problems. His mother often picks up fights with Krishnaswamy regarding financial difficulties and other family-related issues. Due to this, Sai Adhithya and Vinay shifts for hostel, to study well and stay away from all these fights. Due to depression and anger, Vinay eventually turned aggressive, thus developing Intermittent Personality Disorder, which is a rare psychological disorder, that becomes dangerous, if left casual.

Due to the lack of other activities in schools, the other options for entertainment to Adhithya and Vinay were to go for library, sit there and read some books. They have no time to watch movies, spend time with friends and play games. Though this had additionally stressed them a lot yet, they managed to overcome those hardships. As their school days complete, the guys joined college and realized the importance of life and entertainment, other than studies.

"No matter how much you hate school when you're there. But, a part of you still misses it when you leave. Am I right?" asked Vaishnavi to which, Vinay had some sort of tears. Wiping of his tears, he smiled and said: "Exactly. You know? Every high school has it's Romeo and Juliet, one tragic couple, so does every generation. My closest friends are from my high school days."

"Do you have anyone special like such?" asked Vaishnavi, to which he replied: "Of course. She is there with me every moment and every second, till now."

FEW DAYS BACK:

Vinay tells the girl's name as Janani and said, how she have changed his entire life during the high school days:

Janani was a rich girl from Udumalaipet. Her father owns a chain of restaurant, hotels and shops around Tiruppur. Yet, she wished to study in PSG College of Arts and Science. She and Vinay met in the first year, co-incidentally during a cultural program, when his Bike key went missing. Janani learnt the dark past of Vinay during a convo. She told him: "Vinay. If you want to live a happy life, tie it to a goal, not to people or things." She kissed his forehead and said: "Vinay. You know one thing? Not how long, but how well you have lived is the main thing."

Slowly, Vinay and Janani started to strike a bond immediately. During Janani's birthday, Vinay went to her hometown, where she celebrated her birthday. At the evening during the sunset, Vinay proposed his love to her: "Janani. The day I met you, I found my missing piece. You complete me and make me a better person. I love you with all my heart and all my soul."

Janani however laughed at him and the truth, she conveyed to Vinay really shocked him: "Vinay. You know one thing? Love is the expansion of two natures in such fashion that each includes the other, each is enriched by the other. Life is the first gift, love is the second and understanding the third. Although, I received love, I am unable to enjoy the human life."

Janani revealed to Vinay that she have brain cancer and is having very short span of time to live her life. Hearing this, Vinay dropped tears. However, he wiped off his tears impressed by her braveness and positive attitude. Looking at her, he tells: "Janani. Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma- which is living with the results of other people's thinking." She embraced him and that night, they both shares a lip kiss. Vinay leaned and removed Janani's sari, like removing a sculpture. He kissed her breast, lips, lap, cheek and abdomen. They both slept together after going through a deep and intimate love the whole night. The next day, Vinay holds her in between the legs, kissed her shoulder, smiling at her.

She said to Vinay: "Vinay. This one is an unforgettable memories in my life, that I can't forget. I love you eternal da." He hugged her. Janani played her favorite sports game- Basketball and later on, continued to realize several of her unfulfilled dreams in her life. Unfortunately, within few days, she was hospitalized due to the worsening nature of Brain cancer.

 

PRESENT:

Hearing up to this, Vaishnavi had tears in her eyes. She asked to Vinay: "What happened to her Vinay?"

As he was about to say, Adhithya and his friends Bharat, Mouli, Manoj, Kiran and Anbuselvan have already gathered there hearing the dark sides of Vinay somewhere. While, Adhithya's classmates stared at him for not revealing much about Vinay's past life incidents. Now, Vinay said: "I met Janani at her death bed. There she got me a promise that, I would help disabled children and cancer patients in future. Since then, I and my father are helping them to date during each and every birthday of Adhithya's and my birthday."

"I too actually suffered from Keratoconus. Thanks to my uncle and father's help, it got treated through C3R surgery. However these are much better when compared to Cancer. Because, each and every children are suffering from cancer in India as per 2022 reports due to various reasons!" Adhithya said. However, Bharath consoled everyone and asked the people to come and celebrate Adhithya's birthday, instead of being sad. They celebrated the birthday.

A week later, Vinay meets Vaishnavi during the class break and said: "Vaishnavi. I have planned to go for Dhoni Waterfalls in Palakkad. Are you willing to accompany with me?"

Vaishnavi initially thinks a while. However, she smiles at him later and replied him: "Vinay. Good company in a journey makes the way seem shorter. Am I right?"

He laughed and said: "Yes. See, life is a journey and every chapter is very interesting. So, everybody has their own story, everybody has their own journey."

Vaishnavi had a gesture of happiness. However, when speaking, she suddenly faints in the road. Vinay panicked and admits her in the KMCH Hospitals, with the help of Bharath, Sai Adhithya and Mouli. The doctor comes from the medical room after diagnosing the health problems of Vaishnavi.

"Doctor. How's the health of Vaishnavi?" asked Adhithya to which, he said: "She is suffering from Arterial blood hemorrhage."

"Doctor!" Vinay had tears in his eyes and was completely heartbroken.

"Don't worry. It can be treated through surgery. Bleeding from the arteries and veins have severed this. It could be saved." Bharath informed Vaishnavi's father, who rushed to the hospitals. There, he had been asked to pay Rs. 30 Lakhs for the surgery, which is a big amount for him. At this juncture, Vinay agrees to pay the amount on his behalf. He paid the amount with the help of his father in the hospitals.

The surgery gets done successfully. Vaishnavi is brought to the normal ward room, where Vinay enters inside her room and said to her ears: "Vaishnavi. You know? Struggle teaches you a lot of things and I am happy that I am going to witness a roller coaster ride with you. The journey with you has improved me as a person and made me more mature. To the world you may be one person, but to one person you are the world. And that's your father."

Vinay comes out of the room and sits quietly in the chair. While, Sai Adhithya takes him to have breakfast in the college hostel. They attends the class and gets to know important instructions related to Internship and upcoming semester exams. After getting to know about them, Vinay returns to the hospitals for taking care of Vaishnavi after been called by her father.

Vaishnavi's father requests him to take care of her well in the hospitals, telling him about her sensitive and emotional nature. She is now happily eating Orange and Apple. As Vinay entered inside the room, Vaishnavi said: "Take a seat Vinay. Want one Apple!" She asked him by showing the apples to which, he refused and asked her to eat the Apple.

"I doesn't know that I could sooner recover from this strange disease, you know?"

Vinay smiles at her and as she is slowly recovering, he reveals to her about the upcoming semester exams and practical exams, for which she feels elated. After three days, she gets discharged from the hospitals and comes to attend the practical exams. Vinay sees Sai Adhithya sighting at his ex-girlfriend Darshini, and beats his head and said: "Hey. She doesn't love you right? Then why are you sighting her da?"

"It's just for time pass and entertainment da buddy."

"Hey. If I come there means, I would beat you with my slippers da" said Rishi Khanna, one of Vinay and Adhithya's friends.

"Oh! Sorry da. I said it for fun." Sanjay, Rishivaran and Abhin Manoj joined the conversation and said to Adhithya: "Hey. He sees caste when loving girls da."

"Chi! Will you see caste and all ah da?"

"Hey. I never see caste in friendship da. Only in Love I see caste" said Adhithya, to which, Janaarth showcased some Whatsapp messages, involving Adhithya's convo during the first year: "When he was forced by his father, he asked me the caste, to which I belonged. I initially refused to say and later on, said my caste name. He said, you and me are same. This somehow proved that, he is completely loyal to his father and asks whatever he instructs."

"Don't you think about the consequences da" said Vinay and Sanjay, to which Adhithya said: "Without thinking the consequences only, I will ask ah da? There's no way left for me."

"We would all forget about the caste in future with some exception for these kinds of people." As Sanjay said this, Adhithya gets frustrated and said: "Don't point me out da. I am not a person of 1990's. When my father ask only, I would think about caste." When speaking, Rishi Khanna comes faster and instead of tapping Adhithya's lap, he accidentally beats his chick. Seeing it, Abhin, Dayalan, Vinay, Rishivaran and Sanjay laughed uncontrollably.

Adhithya angrily chased him inside the class, which one of the teachers saw and warned them not to fight inside the classes. Sanjay then mocked Adhithya by asking him: "Adhi. Can I like, share and subscribe your bell Icon, please?"

Adhithya beats him up and they have fun with him. During that time, Janaarth opens up another incident, during the first year: "Hey. He had conversed with several fake account holders. Among them is this Sanjay. Adhithya drew six packs in his body and came to the video call. There, he saw Sanjay, recognized him and ended the call you know?"

"You, womanizer. Womanizer." Rishi mocked him, which angered Adhithya and he beats him up by telling him: "You bloody prostitute. Go and suck da. How can you talk about me like such, showing my poem's cover images telling about Sex, Love and Sex and Love, Sex and Intimacy to everyone? Idiot, stupid, Nonsense." For a second, there was a tension, going inside Adhithya's mind. Vinay consoled him and the guys came to peaceful talks.

FIVE DAYS LATER:

Five days later Vinay and Vaishnavi plans to go for a road trip to Dhoni waterfalls having completed the semester exams. They have got ten days of leave before starting internship and third year. While going, Vinay stops at Mazhampuzha dam, where Vaishnavi looks at the bridge and asked him: "Vinay. Is this a river or canal?"

"No. It's actually a canal. They have built it like a big river." The duo enjoys the place through rope car and around 11:30 PM, takes her to the Dhoni Waterfalls, where the forest guard is a known person to Sai Adhithya.

"Are you Vinay?" asked the Forest guard.

"Yes sir. How you know me?"

"Your friend Sai Adhithya sent me you and your friend Vaishnavi's photo through Whatsapp. Asked me to take care of you both" said the forest guard, to which Vinay laughed and said: "Sir. I think he have came here before some days."

"Yeah. He have indeed enjoyed the place so much."

"He is very fond of nature and Western Ghats related areas. However, due to his passion for filmmaking and growing importance for placement, he didn't come today. Thus, he went to my father's business company to learn about finance." Vinay gets a set of team to go along with them and Vaishnavi.

When going up towards Dhoni waterfalls, Vaishnavi asked: "How long is this trip Vinay?"

"Actually it's 16 kilometers. Upside-8 Km and downside- 8 km. Totally it takes three hours Vaishnavi." She hesitated. However, Vinay motivated her to come up and the guys successfully reach Dhoni Waterfalls around 1:15 PM. The waterfalls is in full flow and the scenario is very much beautiful with dense trees and some sounds of animals. Coming downside, Vinay takes Vaishnavi back to Coimbatore. When reaching Kanjikode, he stops his vehicle to the left corner.

He stands and looks at the sky for sometimes to which, Vaishnavi asked him: "Why you stopped in the midway Vinay?"

He asked her to look at the sky and said: "What you see in the sky Vaishu?"

"It's sunny and clear. Nothing much." Vinay turned back and said: "Exactly the same. Life is short and we have never too much time for gladdening the hearts of those who are travelling the dark journey with us. So be swift to love, make haste to be kind." When he was about to start the bike, Vaishnavi's voice made him turn back. She said: "One minute Vinay."

"Hmm." Now, Vaishnavi said: "I have tried so many times to think of a new way to say it, you know?"

Vinay blinked at her. Now, she continued saying: "I love you." As he looked, she continued to tell: "If I know what love is, it is because of you. My soul and your soul are forever tangled." An emotional Vinay hugs her, throwing away his past depression and anger, asides

"Every moment spent with you is like a beautiful dream come true Vaishnavi. I love you." They both hugged and embraced in the roads, before making their way to Coimbatore, where he drops Vaishnavi in her home at Tidal Park Road. Slowly, Vinay's Intermittent Personality Disorder reduces as he is very close to her. The Depression and sorrows in his mind vanished as he talks with her. Seeing him, Adhithya realizes the value of life and love. He slowly understands his mother and reconciles with her, additionally giving immense respect to her, which she had been yearning for five years. Adhithya's father forgives him as he have forgiven his mother and fulfilled his wishes to respect her.

Five days later, Adhithya meets Vinay at the outside gate of PSGCAS, from where he takes him to Tidal Park. Picking up Vaishnavi in his car, the trio make their way to Prozone Mall. There, Adhithya books a ticket for KGF: Chapter 1 by giving 150 Rs. While, Vinay books a lodge in Prozone Mall and shares some convo with Vaishnavi regarding her family.

Vaishnavi said to him that: "She was raised up by her father, a widower. Her mother died when she was 12 years old. Additionally, Vaishnavi have an elder sister: Rohini, who stays in Bangalore. She enjoys having friends and closed people."

He looked into her eyes and smiled at her. She feels shy as he comes near to her face after touching her arms lightly. Holding her gaze, he leaned in a bit more. Now, Vinay touched her cheek and said: "Your angelic face leaves me breathless Vaishu." He kissed her softly on her lips making sure that, it's not hard.

Vinay lingered and pulled away a little. As she saw him, he further leaned in and kissed her again, lingering his lips. He takes a lead inside the room and Vaishnavi followed him. Now, he pulled her close by holding her by the waist, without forcing the touch. Since, it should come naturally. As she comes closer, he noticed her body language and her moves. Holding her gently in his arms, he trailed a finger down her back and felt the fabric of her sari on his skin. Running his fingers through her hair, he trailed a finger along her jawline, holding her chin up to him.

Taking her by the hand, he lights a fire in the room and in her. Taking his time, he lingered and kissed her more. He continues to take his own time and lingered. Kissing her more passionately, he makes her to feel that she is wanted. Vaishnavi realizes that, he wanted her right there, right then. Slowly Vinay removed her dress, lik sculpting a statue, like teaching her to break free. Her body shifts right into his arms. Vaishnavi unbuttoned his shirt and takes her own time as he never stopped kissing her and continued to linger on her lips. He took her hands in him and entwined his fingers, gently stroking the nape of her neck.

Now, Vinay carries her in his arms and lead her to the bed. Since, one can make love in any part of the house, but it should always start in the bedroom. Laying her down in the bed, he admired her in that moment, like he's grateful that Vaishnavi is with him. He feels lucky to be with her right then. Without hesitating for a second or for a minute, he makes Vaishnavi to realize that she is sure of experiencing the moment of making love(Sex). He makes her to feel and make her feel all of it. With every move and every touch, he never leaved her eyes or her lips treating her to the time of her life.

They both slept together in a blanket and Vaishnavi said to Vinay: "Darling. The exotic and the erotic ideals go hand in hand, and this fact also contributes another proof of a more or less obvious truth- that is, that a love of the exotic is usually an imaginative projection of a sexual desire, you know?"

However, he smiled holding her arms and said: "Vaishnavi. I doesn't know about Exotic love or erotic love. But, I am head over heels, deeply and crazily in love with you." She smiled and hugged him. Both of them slept together in blanket. Meanwhile, Adhithya comes out of the theater, having watched KGF: Chapter 1 and comes to Vinay's lodge, where he finds him and Vaishnavi in a blanket.

"Hey. Are you a human being da? I watched KGF: Chapter 1 with fierce and fire in theater. While, you are here with fierce for Vaishnavi ah? I feel jealousy da." As Adhithya said, Vinay said: "Why your stomach is burning like this da? Cool down!"

Vinay and Vaishnavi wore back their dresses. They goes along with Adhithya in the car. When going, Vaishnavi said to Vinay: "Vinay. You know? The purpose of our lives is to be happy. If you want to live a happy life, tie it to a goal, not to people or things."

"Exactly, sister. Tell it to him." Adhithya said and drives the car towards Pollachi. When driving, Vinay said to him that: "He have a big surprise for him in the way towards Ukkadam."

When going, Adhithya finds Darshini, waiting for him in Sundarapuram. He stops the car immediately and turned back at Vinay: "Is this your surprise da? Hey. I loved her just for my time pass and entertainment da. I don't have trust in love da."

Vinay however asked him: "Then, why did you change our group name on her birthday da? That too around 12:00 AM. Doesn't you love her? Then, why did you wished her in Whatsapp da. Doesn't this mean that you love her eternal? What is love? It is the morning and the evening star da."

Adhithya thinks for a while and realized his big mistake. He further learns that, it was Vinay who helped him in love. As he enters outside the car, he goes near to Darshini. Heavy rains downpour suddenly, with clouds surrounding with thunderstorms. Darshini asked him: "Adhithya. Come and kiss me."

"Hey. My father won't accept our love di." Adhithya said to which she said: "Vinay bro will take care of it. Don't worry."

He fearfully goes near to her and kissed her in the lips. She emotionally embraced him. She slapped his face and beats him up. A few seconds later, she asked him: "Why did you lie that you loved me for time pass and entertainment da? If my sister said like such what could I do? I need you like a heart needs a beat now. Our love is like the wind. I can't see it, but I can feel it. But, your words hurt me deeply. Much to the thanks of Vinay bro, I got you back in my life. I love you."

"I love you Darshu." He embraced her. Vinay came out and asked Adhithya: "Adhithya. What you feel from this rain da?"

"Like the sky opens after a rainy day we must open to ourselves da Vinay. We have to learn to love ourselves for who we are and open so the world can see us shine." Vinay smiled for a while and said: "Exactly da. The whole secret of a successful life is to find out what is one's destiny to do and then do it." As the rain stops, Adhithya, Vaishnavi and Vinay decides to go for Pollachi. When the guys are about to go, Darshini stopped Adhithya and angrily asked him: "Did you ask my willingness to come for Pollachi da?"

Adhithya said: "Oh sorry. I forgot." She beats him by chasing. Adhithya asked Vinay to save him. However, he said: "Get her beatings da." A while later, he begs her to spare him. She spares him and accompanies the trio to Pollachi, after informing her father about her trip to Meenakshipuram, which is the hometown of Adhithya and Vinay. When going towards Kinathukadavu, a reflection of Janani smiles at Vinay.
