The College Life

SITRA: 

19 SEPTEMBER 2020: 

After scoring good marks in 12th, Akhil got admission to PSGCAS. The admission was finished after submitting the mark sheets and they shifted to SITRA, from Erode district. Since online classes are soon to progress.

Whatsapp and they all became friends through a group called "Nari Kootams", where he interacts a lot along with his friends. He was addicted to Whatsapp sooner. 

The only useful things that he did were writing stories and poems. He is a multi-talented guy speaking Tamil, English, and Telugu fluently. 

There were lots of comic situations during the start of the class. Several of his friends don't interact much. 

One of his friends Vikram sang a song called, "Pandagala" which was deemed to be worst and many said, "You are killing me, idiot...the voice is so worst." 

"From where da you all are from?" Another guy asked him. 

Some of his friends said, "My sister felt frightened upon hearing this song da." 

During the online classes, he used to see a lot of statuses: Love status, Bike status, etc. During their college days through online mode, he went through lots of fun-filled moments. 

During the online class, his teacher Vinita mam asked him: "Hey Akhil. Where is your classmate Sai Adhithya?" 

"I will see and report mam." When he asked in the group, his friends told: "He could have gone to write stories da." 

"Would be chatting with his girlfriend da" said Sanjay, upon seeing the message. 

"From where da you are all coming from?" Akhil asked them to which, they replied stating: "From Peelamedu." 

"You all, shameless fellows." Another incident to reminds him of, with his neighboring class students. 

"Hey, Manoj. Mam is calling you da. Where have you gone da?" 

"Maybe he could have gone to the bathroom or would be flirting with girls," said Dharun. 

For this, his friend Viswa said, "There is a Snake in the stream. Go and suck it." 

Another guy said to Dharun: "Please understand da buddy. This is not a comedy." 

Several days later, during the presentation time, Akhil was messaged in the group by his teammate Bharath: "Dei. Vinitha mam would tell laptop, etc. like that today da." 

"If mam asked means, you ask her to get one for us," said Dharun, one of Akhil's close friends. 

"Which mam da?" Aswath asked to which, Dharun replied: "Your favorite mam da." And another guy said: "Tutor." 

And Bharath asked, "Didn't you come during the last week?" 

Aswath then replied Dharun with a sticker stating: "You retch. Go and suck da." 

He replied to Bharath: "I didn't attend the online class." For this, Sai Adhithya said: "Who listened to the online class da? Everyone just sleeps in the online class." 

"This mental is another idiot here," said Dharun, by sending Vadivelu sticker for which he sends his sticker stating: "Even the beauty feels jealous. That much beautiful he is." 

As retribution for Aswath's sticker, Dharun tells: "He could have been drunk during the last class." 

"Mam was telling about laptop during the online class," Bharath stated to Aswath. 

Aswath then said, "Useless information. Thanks for sharing." 

Then, he sent the sticker of Akhil to which, Aswath asked: "What did he do to you da?" 

"I didn't get any other sticker da. That's why!" Dharun said. 

"The two are lovers da," Bharath said to which, Dharun sends a Vivek sticker, where he spits on the other person. For the msg of Bharath, Aswath laughed... 

"I was silent for these many times right." Dharun sent a Vadivelu sticker again. 

"Hey, tell to mam that, I am present da," Manoj said to Mouli. 

"Mam itself is missing da. Attendance hasn't been taken" said Bharath, to which P. Bharath laughed and Mouli said, "Only during the class time, she goes missing. And then she comes to speak when the class finished." 

At the same time, for the comedy of Akhil(reply for Bharath's sticker, "This slipper is torn for sometimes), Bharath replied through a sticker: "This is not a big comedy da." 

During the period of 10 September 2021, the students were informed about the offline classes. The instructions were: 

"Students should wear masks." 

"Students must have got at least one vaccine when coming to the class." 

"Hostelers should have put two doses of vaccine." 

"Parents declaration form Must be brought by the students." 

Seeing these messages, the friends said: "Is that a chocolate to get immediately? It's impossible to put the second dose of vaccine da. As it hasn't come yet." Murali said in the group. 

For this message, Dharun sent a reply through Surya sticker stating: "Go to the corner and suck. Go." Aswath laughed. 

While Tharun Sundar said: "Let's inform this as a report to the tutor. They could change it." 

"What a brilliance da!" Akhil sent Vadivelu a sticker to praise him out. The message didn't get any response, however. 

So Akhil said to himself, "I am the only guy to send a message, despite being ignored by all." 

19 SEPTEMBER 2021: 

AT 8:30 AM: 

Days have passed like a wind. Around 8:30 AM, since people have to go for jobs such as IT, government jobs, etc., the roads of SITRA and Gandhipuram are blocked with heavy traffics and despite such negatives, Akhil reaches Friends Xerox shop to get the Covid-19 Vaccination form and Parents-Students declaration form printed. 

During that time, his friend Sai Adhithya calls him and asked, "Hey Akhil. Have you taken the print of my vaccination form da?" 

"Not yet da," Akhil said and he forgets to take the print, due to the crowds filled in the shop. As the time is running out, he goes to the college with his parents form alone taken. 

Reaching the place along with his friend Pulkit, who told his name and shaken his hands, he goes to the class. Akhil remains silent in the class. Since he is not bold to talk with them. 

Currently, he is a second-year college student. For one and a half years, their class went online and Akhil recalls the days, that we're through the mode of online for the past one year, sitting in the class. Their tutor comes to the class, telling: "Welcome to the offline class students. After a long time, you all are here. It's a very lucky time for us to enjoy these college days offline, I think." 

"Yes sir." Someone said from the backside. While, Akhil's benchmate Abhin Manoj said, "In Online classes, we would sleep and sit in the bed to listen to the classes. While in this offline class, we are to listen to the class by controlling our sleep." 

Kathirvel laughed upon hearing this. Days in the offline class went as such. During the offline class, Akhil didn't talk much with his friends for two days. 

He adapted himself and then started to talk with all. One of his class teachers Kanagaraj sir then entered the class and during the session, he called out Deepan Siddharth and Abhin, warning them to cut their hairs. 

"Don't show your attitude to me. I would pluck your teeth off." For which, everyone comments secretly and laughed. 

Akhil put the memes of this video(which he recorded secretly) by tagging Vadivelu comedy, where he would tell: "What nonsense is this da?" 

"Guys. Ask other students. They have experienced so many problems from me. If you use mobile phones in my class, I would throw them off or break them off. Then, don't blame me." He further said, "If you try to show your attitude, then you would be in deep trouble." 

Then, he roped in one more guy named Sanjay Kumar, whom he asked: "What's this da? Kammal?" 

"You should remove them tomorrow when coming back." 

Akhil then told, "We have seen these types of warning during the MGR period itself." Kathirvel laughed upon hearing this. 

The friends formed a group with Sai Adhithya, Deepan, Abhin, Balasurya, and Rishivaran. A few more like Siddha Shashank Swaroop, Roshan, and Rithik also joined them. During this time, Akhil went into a scuffle with Sanjay, who asked him: "Hey. Will you see Bittu films da?" 

"What bothers you if I see Bittu movies or romantic scenes?" Akhil asked in anger. However, he goes off silent seeing her body strength. The next day, he spreads rumors about this to his classmates and friends after which, Akhil gives him a punch to the nose and tells laughing, "Don't worry. I won't do anything. But, would harm you, if you spread something bad about me." 

"What wrong question did he asked you? You see Bittu movies ah only right?" Swetha and Shruthiga asked laughing to which, Akhil said with a sign of smile: "Why? Did he acted as a hero in that film? Or is he going to promote the film?" 

They remained silent, searching for words. While, Kathirvel with a cool face said: "If means, tell friends. We will approach Kanagaraj sir and ask him to promote. I think it doesn't cover our subject books." 

The people run into the class, upon hearing his name. While Sanjay saw Akhil face to face and said: "Let's see da. How you would sustain in this class!" 

Sanjay Kumar have the screenshots of Akhil, talking with a girl called Harshini, a Brahmin girl from R.S.Puram, to whom he is not talking, upon promising her sister not to do so, when he reached the limit of the relationship to love and several problems, that have aroused due to this. 

During these days, he has turned very arrogant and aggressive and plans to prove himself to the world, which is seeing him as a failure. Harshini tries to talk with him but goes in vain. 

Akhil becomes a feminist and doesn't talk much with girls during the two weeks of online classes. However, the classes soon are shifted to online due to the CA Tests, though there is no COVID. Akhil starts to miss her more. While Harshini too starts to miss this girl. 

Harshini was brought up by her father Surya Chandrasekharan after the demise of her mother, due to heart disease. When writing exams, he admires her and yet, remains silent remembering the promise kept. 

Reminding that, he has to prove himself to the world, Akhil forgets about this love, etc. As he comes to the conclusion that: "The world is a stage and everyone are actor. In addition, these are all just infatuation." 

That time, a sticker for a message sent by one of his friends comes in his WhatsApp stating: "See, what barrette stories all is he saying." He laughed upon seeing the sticker and proceeds to cut the meet link, in which he is attending the classes, and confirms the message about the reopening of college on 20 October 2021.
