The Betterhalves

This April will undoubtedly turn me 44. The Ruby period of my eventful life juggles me in the deep thoughts of why I was christened the way I am christened. The meaning of my name is straight and that is 'rarest rare'. Now when my life givers decided me to be the rarest, my beautiful relationship called marriage had surprises to offer sometimes every moment sometimes every day to every year. What a complete packet of life partner I received straight from the heavens! Love is the only element in whatever I am reprimanded for. Care is taken in all the careless things that we do. People around us often think how we complement each other but we know how perfectly imperfect we are.

One thing is common in us and that's we are poles apart. We need to be likewise to be betterhalves. 18 years back when my husband's mother finally chose me as his wife, she must have believed me to be a 'lamb' but I wish my readers to find out about me from her for sure. Debts taken to debts paid, from house to home, from unknown to known, from a housewife toa working person I believed how incessantly I kept giving but it was the other way around.
