It's a fact universally acknowledged that if you have a fortune, you have a world of people in it. And this old man realised today when the rusty coin in his hand was waiting to be dropped in the the well of wishes near the old Shiva temple.

Raghu was right behind Ramlal, the old man. He was a witness of the whole scene but what he noticed was missed by all the visitors of the temple. He would call all of them visitors because he believed that if they were followers of the Lord, they would see Ramlal 's wet eyes, stop there for a while and bother for him. Nay! They just looked at Ramlal 's rags, had disgust on face and wished probably, why people like Ramlal would exist.

Raghu went a little closer and avoiding the old man's eyes, he looked into the well. "Child, stay away from the well. Where is your mother? Doesn't she know, she must not leave you unattended?" said the stammering voice of Ramlal. Raghu 's curious voice immediately answered him, "I want to see who is that man inside the well, that needs your coin so desperately." Ramlal 's face had a, why? He continued with a straight voice, " I believe your coin may buy food for us today. If you wish you can give it to me and I shall get food for both of us. I am sure the guardian of the well will take sometime to fulfill your wish but the coin in your hand can do it in no time."

Raghu 's innocent conversation with Ramlal was so straight. It made him thoughtful. He recollected how all these years he had wasted coins in that well. The dwellers of the well could not grant him any peace but today this 'Raghu' (Another name of Lord Rama.), in Shiva's temple gave him 'Brahmagyan' (The ultimate knowledge by lord Brahma). The orphan beggar -Raghu was his caretaker from then.

Who would go and tell Ramlal that the guardians of the well had finally fulfilled his wish?
