Rice One day Ramana Maharishi entered the kitchen of the ashram. There he saw rice lying on the ground. He bent down and pounded each rice and joined the bundle of rice. Devotees who did not see Ramana in time searched for him all around. Some people saw him cooking rice in the kitchen. They wondered, "Does Mahan, who has renounced home and relationship, tolerate contemplative rice?" Thousands of devotees lamented that his power was being wasted in this tumult as he waited for his vision. ‘‘ Swami! Plenty of rice bundles given by the devotees are here and in the warehouse.
