Plant Trees For A Better Tomor

It was a happy summer morning. The weather was amusing. Well, let me introduce myself, My name is Reva and I am 12 years old, currently. My hobbies include writing and reading stories. I was just about to serve myself a cup of coffee, when suddenly the bell rang. I was about to open it, but the door burst open and hit me in the face! Ouch! That hurt!

It was my friend, Julia. "Hey, Revs! How are you? I've got a glorious news for you!" she said, enthusiastically. "Hello! But my name is Reva and not 'Revs'!" I corrected her. "Yes, yes, whatever! So as you know that the world is facing several complications in this pandemic situation. Many people are loosing their lives due to the scarcity of oxygen. So, why not raise awareness about saving and planting trees? Because they help producing oxygen!" said a thoughtful Julia. I liked her idea, so I agreed, "Yes! Julia, what a fantastic idea! Let's all meet at 5pm in the garden and plant some trees to save the world!"

Julia nodded. I went towards my window and observed the nature. Birds were happily chirping, sitting on the branches of the trees. Such a beautiful sight! Next, I decided to collect a few seeds so I could plant them the following evening. I collected many seeds.

Soon, it was five in the evening. I dashed through the door and went towards the garden. I spotted Julia, who was instructing the others, "Lily, please place all the pots nicely so it's not an issue while planting. Zoe, can you put some soil in the pots, please? Mathew, please get the watering cans." I greeted her joyfully and I started helping her with the arrangements. After some time, Julia informed that it was time to sow the seeds. So, we all took the seeds and we started sowing them. I dug a small hole in the soil, then I put the seeds and covered it with soil again. Next, I watered them nicely. I sowed some Mango seeds. The others were working cheerfully.

After an hour or so, we were done. We all shouted, "We promise to always save and plant trees and protect the nature!" We had also made arrangements for food.

"Crunch! Ah... It was such a pleasure planting seeds, isn't it Reva?", Julia said, munching chips. I agreed with her. Soon, it was time for us to go back home. When I reached home, I happily looked out at the window, wondering, that we'll soon overcome this crisis. After 3-4 days, we observed that the seeds had grown into saplings! Greenery everywhere! Isn't it lovely?

So, that's why, dear readers, we all must care for the world!

Until next time, Bye!!
