Cameron Connor suspected something was a little off when his modest dear tried to kiss him when he was just six years old. Nevertheless, he lived a relatively normal life among other humans.

It wasn't until he bumped into the devilishly peculiar mermaid, Naomi Thornhill, that his life finally began to make sense.

However, Naomi proved to be fragile and seemed to have an unhealthy obsession with swimming. Cameron soon learned that Naomi had taken an oath never to kiss a human being.

When Cameron's modest dear is injured in a biking accident, Cameron realizes his own life is at risk.

Despite Naomi's grumpy disposition and whopping ears, Cameron finds himself falling for the mermaid. Only fate will be decided whether she kills or protects him.

One night, a phantom cat appears before Cameron and warns him of the darkness within Naomi. The phantom cat gives Cameron the enchanted knife - the only weapon that can defeat a peculiar mermaid.

Will Cameron find it in himself to kill the only creature who has ever made him feel truly afraid? (Hint: yes!)
