Home Alone With Friends

It was a fine morning, when my parents informed me that they had to visit my uncle as he had taken ill. This meant that an entire day home alone! Whoa.. but I never imagined it to be something like that... totally unplanned.

Being home alone was so boring so I called my best friends at home. They arrived so late that I'd finished all my tacos by then. As soon as they stepped into the house, my happiness had no bounds! First, we always mark our meet with our signature sandwich- 'THE BEST FRIEND SUPERSONIC SANDWICH'. Apparently, that sandwich wasn't to be tasted because guess what! We ruined it by putting oisters and chilli sauce.

We knew we could not miss our pillow fight! We grabbed our best scarlet red pillows and started smashing each other's heads so badly. When there was no energy left in us, we fell on the fluffy bed. I had some popcorn in store, so I brought them and we had our best moment! We opened the television, 201 the channel number, and Shin Chan! We ate popcorn and watched our favourite cartoon.

While we were watching Shin Chan, suddenly the lights went off. We screamed so bad. Then, there was complete silence. Fifteen minutes had passed and we were all still chanting the Hanuman Chalisa as we could feel Dementors reaching us. We were about to sleep when a loud bang on the solid door broke the nerve racking silence. Two dark shadows appeared near the window and the sound of whispering was heard. We knew the day had come. It was a Zombie Apocalypse.

What could be more frightening than all of this? Suddenly, a big laugh hit our ears. They were my parents who pranked us! My brain and heart both were telling me to pull their hair, and I bet my friends' too but technically we could not do that.

I must say, that day with my best friends was a funny one.
