Estaa was a very generous, 11 year old girl. She was naïve too. But, a drastic change had started to show in her. Because of one thing her best friend did, she had started to understand that people were not as good as they seemed. Estaa had a best friend named Ava, who had started a fight between Christina and her. Christina was also one of Estaa's friends. She was a kind girl and was brilliant in her studies. "How could you?!" Estaa had asked in disbelief. "Well, I did it just for fun!" was Ava's hurtful reply. Estaa sighed at the sad memory. She had almost lost Christina because of a stupid thing Ava had done. To forget all the things, Estaa just took out her phone and scrolled through Facebook. That's when she realized that Ava had commented on her post which she had posted just two hours ago! It was a post about the yummy food she had prepared all by herself and Ava had commented, 'Wow, yummy! I wish I was there to eat it!' Estaa was confused. Yesterday Ava was smiling evilly at her, and today she was all nice? 'Maybe it is her plan to win me over,' Estaa thought to herself. She ignored the comment and did some time pass.

Estaa was reading a book called 'The Room Of Many Colors' by Ruskin Bond when the doorbell rang. She went to open the door. She was expecting Christina and Sadie; because she had invited them for a sleepover. But she was shocked to see Ava standing at the door. "Hi, Es.. I wanted to apologize for yesterday," she said in a child's voice. Estaa rolled her eyes in response. "Please, I was in a bad mood yesterday." Ava pleaded. "Oh, to me it seemed like you were in a good mood when you laughed evilly as I left." Estaa jeered. "Look, I'm really sorry for what I did. And, plus, we both know that Christina could say all those mean things to you. It doesn't make much of a difference even if I made them up. So you will forgive me na?" Ava nagged. Estaa sighed and smiled. "No. Ava, why would I forgive you after all the things you have done? You have proved that people of your age can also be so manipulative and mean. It's like you are the sick person and I am the tissue. Whenever you need me, you use me. But, when you are done with me, you just throw me away and forget about me. You love to see me suffer. Right?" she replied, her voice calm. Ava was left speechless because she was seeing the change in her. Every word she spoke was true, though she did not admit it. "And thanks, for showing me how the world is; fake and unkind," Estaa added as she closed the door behind Ava. She gritted her teeth and left, never to be seen again..
