More Than A Showmance...

I can't believe that I'm going to meet the cast of the amazing show I had auditioned for!!!! I still remember the day I had received a call from the director that I had been selected for the main character in the show. I still hadn't met the other actors I would be working with, and today was our bonding session. 

I sat in my car and was doing one last makeup check when my phone rang. It was Evan (my boyfriend). I picked up. 

'Hey Evan, why'd you call?' I asked. 

'Well, I knew how you were nervous about your bonding session. I just wanted to tell you that it's gonna be okay, I'm sure everyone will like you; you are an amazing person!' he said. 

'Thanks, I really need that,' I smiled at how much he cared. His words really calmed me down. 

'Hey, Uhm, about your co-star, I just can't stand my girlfriend hanging out with another boy for 6 months...' he trailed off. Well, since the show is based on a love story he is kinda scared I will fall for my co-star. He is one jealous boyfriend. 

'Don't worry! You know I still love you!' I guaranteed, sighing in my mind. He had been talking about this all week, and honestly, it frustrated me. 

'Okay, I'm gonna be late if I don't stop talking to you now,' I laughed and ended the call. 

As my car pulled outside a house. It was my co-star's house, I felt a rush of nervousness and happiness. 

A boy with brown curls came to greet me. I got lost in his chocolatey eyes for a minute. 

'Hi, I'm Teo, nice to meet you!' he smiled stupidly. 

I smiled back. 'Hey, nice to meet you, I'm Madelyn, you can call me Maddy.' 

He laughed, 'Hey Maddy. So, tomorrow we are leaving for New York for shooting, so I guess you'll be staying over. The airport is really close from here,' he explained.

I nodded. 

He led me inside. He seemed really nice. I thought he would be kinda rude and egoistic, but he turned out to be the complete opposite!

I met the other cast inside. There was Emma, Matt, Lucas, Mia, and Lily. They all were so amazing! I had feeling that these six months of my life were going to be THE BEST!

'The script is so amazing, right? I'm sorry I'm a sucker for romantic stories,' Teo said. Me too! 

Evan's call interrupted our conversation. Ugh! He is so naggy! 'I'm sorry guys it's my boyfriend,' I apologized. 

For a moment, Teo's smiled slipped but he put it back on. 

Teo P.O.V

Okay, I think I was a complete fool to think that such a gorgeous girl like Maddy wouldn't have a boyfriend. Shut up, Teo. Of course, I didn't have feelings for her. It's just..... maybe if she has a boyfriend she will be quite distant. And, I really wanted to get to know her more and more. She was an incredible person! I could tell from our first conversation. 

Maddy returned. She had a sad look in her eyes. 

'Uhm, is everything ok?' I asked, anxiously. 

'Well, if you leave the fight I had with Evan just now, my life is great!' she snapped, burying her face in her hands. Aww, poor her. 

Lily sat beside her. 'It's okay. Fights happen. Let's forget and enjoy!' 

Maddy reluctantly nodded. I kinda feel bad for her. 

*2 days later*

Maddy P.O.V

We had finally begun settling in our apartments. The rest 3 days were given to relax and settle in our new rooms. 

Lily peeked in, 'Maddy, you wanna come to join us on movie night?' 

'Sure, come one!' I agreed and joined others in the lobby. We decided to watch a horror film. Not exactly my type, but I guess it would be fun to watch with others.

'Aah!!' I screamed as I buried my face in Te's chest. Seriously, that scene I just saw was bloody. 

I quickly shifted away. That was just a reflex action, hehe. A blush crept to my cheeks. 

Smirking Emma said, 'Well, someone's blushing.' 

I don't know why. I still love Evan. I don't have ANY feelings for Teo. Yaa, sure he is smart, caring, kind, funny, oh and also he somehow always knows how to cheer someone up... okay I should stop.

*First day of shoot*

Yass! Today's the first day of the shoot!

'Ready?' Emma and Lily asked at the same time. 

'Yup,' I breathed. This was my first time acting in a series. I have done a couple of movies before but.... this experience is different I guess?

We shot a few promos today, so I had most of the shots with Teo. And I must admit, he is an amazing actor!!!! Sometimes I had to tell myself that he was just acting. 

After our shoot, I flopped on my bed, exhausted. But it was fun too. 

My phone beeped. It was a text from Teo. 

Teo: Meet you tomorrow at the park!! Bye! Good night.

I smiled from ear to ear. 

Me: Mee too! Good night.

*1 month later*

Even though it took me a lot of time, I mustered up the courage to talk to Evan. We haven't talked in a month!

'Olivia?' I heard a familiar voice from the other end. 

'Hey, Evan! I wanted to talk about our..... fight,' I stuttered. 

'Yeah, I just want to say that... I don't think we should continue this...' he trailed off. 

'W-what do you mean?' I gulped. 

'I mean that we're breaking up, Maddy. I found another girl and we have a lot of chemistry....' 

'Well, so do Teo and me but that doesn't mean I dump you to date him!' I argued. 

I ended the call abruptly. I can't handle this. 

Teo sat beside me. I didn't notice that he had come inside. 

He pulled me to his chest. Somehow that always made me feel better.

'Evan broke up with me,' I sobbed. He was the person I could share anything and everything with. 

'No worries. I'm sure you both will work it out,' he assured, rubbing circles at the back of my hand. That's what I liked about him; he never hated someone, instead, he gave the right advice. 

I thanked him. Over the past few weeks, I found myself catching feelings for him.

'Teo, I like you, more than a friend,' I blurted out. 

He stared at me in pure shock. Oopsies. 

'I know it sounds silly but those talks in the cafe, hanging out at my apartment, I really enjoy spending time with you. And it's totally fine if you don't feel the same...' I was cut off. 

'I like you too, Mads. I kept my feelings hidden because I didn't want to ruin our friendship,' he confessed. 

I smiled softly at him. 'I want this thing to be more than a showmance, okay?' I demanded. 

He chuckled, 'Okay, madam, as you say.'
