The Power Of True Friendship

Hey guys! Today I am going to tell you the TRUE story that happened this year. So, you see, I had a best friend named Shreya. She was a kind and nice person, and was very friendly and warm, atleast I thought so, but, then slowly, she started to reveal her true colors. Me, Reenika, Shragvi and Tanmayee were getting close because of chatting. Then, after our first visit, me, Shreya and Reenika formed a group, because we three LOVED writing, and so, on that group we started sharing our stories. I knew Shreya very well, but my friendship with Reenika was fresh and tender. We were just getting to know each other. One day, Shreya called me. We both were working on a secret project, and so she had called. However, the secret project was left behind as we started gossiping about school and enemies. 'That Reenika is such a bore,' she said, which startled me. Then, she went on about how bad Reenika was, and I just kept on laughing and agreeing to her stories (but now I understand they were lies). I was slowly starting to get angry on Reenika, and then, to top it all off, Shreya even told me a few insulting statements that Reenika had said about me (which was also a lie, of course!) I got furious hearing that, but then I just decided to ignore. But, the next day, Shreya sent me a message, which she said was from Reenika, saying that I was mean. I completely lost it. I left our group. Reenika noticed this and immediately messaged our problem solver, Shragvi. She called me and asked me the reason for my anger. I told her everything about Reenika, and she told me to talk to her. 

Me: Look, I didn't like what you said to me. 

Reenika: But, what did I say!

Me: Um... that I was mean?

Reenika: I didn't say that! I have proof!

Then she sent me the screenshots of her chats with Shreya, and I couldn't find the message that I was mean! Now, you must be thinking, Reenika could have deleted it! But, no, the app we use for chatting, we can't delete our messages. We came to the conclusion that Shreya had made up all this! We both fought with Shreya, and even assured her that if she confessed, we would forgive her. As if she would listen! She just fought more and more, and so we decided to remove her from our friend group. To be honest, I was kinda relieved. Me and Shreya always fought, and then made up. How long would this continue! We were labeled as 'Fake Friends' by her. And, she started writing stories about true friends and fake friends. She even exposed my name in one of her story. At first, I was very angry, but now I don't care if people put dirt on me. I have my 'True' friends by my side, and I have my stories, and that's all that matters.
