Glimpse
Glimpse
I yearn to be the glimpse that you behold,
A moment's inspiration, a tale to be told.
I'd forsake the mountains' grandeur and might,
For a tranquil sea, where I might bask in peaceful night.
I'd choose not spring's vibrant hue,
But autumn's palette, to become the beauty anew.
I'd select not day's radiant light,
But night's dark veil, to reveal my heart's plight.
You, cherish every glimpse, every fleeting glance,
Lest our love becomes a one-sided dance.
As time passes, the colors of our love may fade,
You and I, beyond words, our hearts have already made.
I set foot on a path, without a clear destination,
You walk with me, I'll follow your every motivation.
Your gentle hums, I'll endure every pain,
In this moment, every glimpse, I want to live and sustain.
Our tomorrow may not be, but I want to live today,
To dance barefoot, with you, in the streets, without dismay.
I want to weave a glimpse, a moment so divine,
With starlight's sparkle, gul mohur's scent, and koel's rhyme.
That glimpse will be alive, with every drop of rain,
In that moment, I'll be me, with life's vibrant refrain.
I'll be the glimpse that shines, with every fiber of my being,
A moment's beauty, forever in your heart, forever seeing.
