Her Embrace

I'd be the ash, where embers glow,
A smoldering fire, that forever grows,
I'd be the shore, where waves caress the sand,
And whisper secrets, in the evening's gentle hand.

I'd be the pen, that writes the poet's tale,
The heartbeat, that keeps the rhythm, never to fail,
I'd be the sigh, that speaks the silent pain,
A whisper, that echoes, through joy and sorrow's reign.

I'd be the cry, that rises, pure and true,
Without complaint, a lament, that's heard anew,
I'd be the path, where poets tread, and sigh,
Their words, a testament, to love, and life's sweet lie.

I'd be the tale, that brings the tear,
The song, that makes the seeker dance, and cheer,
I'd be the bird, that spreads its wings, and soars,
A sacrifice, an offering, to the sky, that adores.
