Lockdown

Life in lockdown seems like jail,

But this is one jail, from which we cannot bail.

If you go out, the horrible virus will get you

"When did I get it?" You won't even have a clue.

Day just doesn't pass by,

We spend it saying, "why God, why?"

America is about to beat Italy any moment now,

The way people are dying, only thing we can think is, 'how?'

The P.M. extended the lockdown upto 3rd of May,

Kids innocently say, "when can we play?"

If manage to go out, police will hit you with sticks,

They are only protecting you, they aren't playing any tricks!

I salute all the doctors, working in this difficult time,

I feel so proud, I can't even find words that rhyme.

Don't believe the news on whatsapp for its fake,

Just some stories, people have baked
