A villain

There is a villain in every story,

Yes, they may deceive otherwise.

But always, one way or another, 

There is a villain in every story.

I hope I am not the one in yours,

I would fight them for you,

Lay down my life for you, 

But in all of that, I could still be a villain.

Destroy what others call their world, 

All so I could have my world,

Where only you and I existed,

But who is to say that everyone will think I am a hero?

And yes, your love is so blinding, 

An obsession I need to feed,

A drug I have become addicted to,

And god help me, I don't want to heal,

Just lay in your arms for eternity.

I have become a villain to make sure we have our story,

Even if it meant that I would be a monster.

The question is, 

Am I still the same person you fell for?

A cruel monster, A sadistic beast,

Yes, all are true but what does it matter?

I am a villain, whether you love me or not,

As I said, they may deceive others, 

Including you, my love
