Where Are You?

Lived our childhood days as carefree as we could,

Not a thing there was to worry about,

Not a thing to be afraid of,

Then came the days 

Where we grew up from running around the bushes

To running around in schoolyards,

To arguing about silly things we had done,

To sharing our bond until our journeys were apart,

Sometimes, it's the memories that make me smile,

Sometimes, I just keep wondering how time flies,

Not a day goes by that I miss spending time with you,

Miss the pretty smile on your face,

Miss how I used to feel calm,

Had a sense of contentment that you were with me,

I wonder if it's possible to re-live those times again,

Meet again like how we used to but as adults,

Feel the happiness once again, how we used to,

Where are you? Is the question I keep asking,

There is not a place left around 

That I had not searched for you,

Not a place left around 

That I revisit, just to re-live those moments 

I shared with you,

Moments that not just reminds me of you,

Moments, where my heart still says
