A Mindful Ache
A Mindful Ache
Yesterday,
Never comes back.
He still hurts.
Dreams feel incomplete without the ray of hope
While this matters-
He knows he must have done something,
To fall in the course of unforgettable reminisces.
A void took birth,
An unnatural birth that haunts his dreams now
Invading his existence entangled with someone else's.
It feels that there's no get out,
No do-over
No resurrection
No peace
... He needs those memories to survive,
To feel what it used to be once.
Why does it feel like thorns growing up in his mind!
What does he do to stop the process!
Whose door should he knock now!
Nights are unforgiving
Days laugh at his face - a cynical one.
He hasn’t screamed at semi-skyblue wall of his room since then.
He doesn't want to dive deep anymore
For it could anchor him forever.
