Droplets, Thoughts And Wishes

Like the raindrops falling from cloudy skies above us,

Every droplet that falls sits on the surface it touches,

The windows of our houses, the leaves of the plants around us,

The ground that we stand on, our skin too,

But even though they touch, they do slide through,

They slide through to an unknown destination,

A destination that may end where the surface ends, or,

A destination that leads to something else,

These droplets do have the uncertainty of where they lead,

Uncertainty of where would they reside,

Uncertainty to what they believe in,

Our thoughts and wishes are not much different from these droplets,

They may come to our mind and heart,

Reside in them for a while,

But unlike the droplets,

It's us who decide which of those reside and,

Which of them we let slide,

It's our belief that keeps us alive,

it's our belief that things can still be beautiful,

It's our belief that we can always heal from what hurt us,

it's our belief that we can always create something meaningful...
