I Am Happy

It has been a decade or two,

that I’ve severed from God, knows who.

I do not remember the whole lot,

that I also did forget not.

For a reunion, they called at school,

only to know how much did we spool.

As I looked around, it’d happily hurt,

to see Mr. Clumsy shirt.

His confined shirt, though

had hung his head so low.

There was Ms.Star that twinkles

only I caught sight of her concealed wrinkles.

Yeah! They had gathered,

to see if others really bothered.

“I had to fly down the USA,”

Mr. Grungy hair would say

“I already have a crore on stake.

only for this l’il break.”

He then would dig in his chocolate cake.

“And Mr. Quiet, what about you”

They included me in the conversation too.

“I am happy.” I said and beamed,

they did not as it seemed.

“An industry?” They would question

“A lottery,” was another interrogation.

“None, “I again beamed,

they did not, as it seemed.

“What?” All flabbergasted,

not that my life was wasted.

“I have a home, not a house,

and a wife, not a spouse.

My children live with me happily and merrily

forever, and not temporarily.

They endow me with all the joy,

Not a bit do they ever annoy.”

Not to everyone’s envy,

but my lips turned curvy.

They were happy with the currency

that I could not win only to fancy.
