Fire & Ice
Fire & Ice
There was a time,
When we thought of a world,
Under the shed of contentment and delight,
Where we looked for a kinship,
Within every soul's trespassing by.
In hope for leading lives,
Under the beacon of starlight
Where tranquility of minds was a reason
To relive those juvenile moments of bliss
Imperishable with the fall of age
In a hunt for Euphoria Under the disguise
But, when reality strikes,
That entire notion turns pale and petrifying
Every curtain dwindle on the spur of the moment
Like every set of verities falls down all of a sudden
Even those contours seem so shimmering
But those dire darkness prevails at eventide
Like the sun shines so bright
When the fire engenders emotions
That's never too resilient to live by
Like the abhorrence melts down
Every tad of an ice
Even if this world comes to a head
Within the pacific ring of fire,
Or the Ice meltdown every camouflaged desire
Within the clutches of hatred and conspires
Though a soul can pull through the wrath of fire,
If thou can get hold of those fiery covets,
Which was once hard to hold out against.
What if it had to bite the dust twice,
To hold my hate every moment I survive
To live past a self-slaughter of those rimes
And hits the spot for a while.
