Happiness On The Loose

Under the starry sky,
Stars shimmering one at a time,
Still a shade of dimness
Domineered him the entire time,
But Alas! Couldn't go great guns in his life.
With no utopia close at hand,
To fill the void that snuffs him way inside,
He atoned his fickle mind,
As if it's the last day of his life.
While strolling through the pavements
Filled with a bucket full of epiphanies,
Heedless and baffled far and wide,
As it'll change the obtique that he had in mind.
On spur of the moment,
A fulgent light stupefied his eyes,
With a yearning for ecstasy and elation,
Since his eyes never espied
Such elegance in his span of life,
What if there's the cause to live by.
Staring at that damsel vividly,
Sitting underneath the canopy of a plum tree,
Riffling a page of her book,
In the act of grinning ear to ear,
And her eyes filled with tears of joy,
As if he was stuck in a realm of the fairy tale,
From where he could never go AWOL.
While deserted in a forlorn island,
With no hope left to endure,
She pitched in as a gateway of disguise,
To escort happiness to his riven life,
To make him visualize,
That there's still a chance to roll the dice,
And set things upright.
