Darkness Full Of Pain

The weather was gloomy

And the flowers were no longer blooming

The once happy faces

Were full of deface

The pain just won't go

As memories continued to grow

It was like an ultimate blow

And everyone felt low

The house lost its life

As sister lost a brother

And father lost his son

But nothing compared to the grief of a mother

Who lost her son

Wherever she went she could hear

Her son's laugh and cheer

And every time her heart was pierced with a spear

And reality struck her that

Cancer had taken away her son.

He fought

And all of them stood united

But his fate was blighted

And in the end what left was benighted darkness

Today standing by his grave

All were trying to be brave

But then struck a wave

Full of grief and pain

As all fell to their knees in vain

Realizing that cancer was bane
