Loving You Forever
Loving You Forever
Constantly straightening her skirt
And brushing her hair
Trying on a pair of glair
Now anxiousness had started to seep in the air.
Throwing away her heels
She was on the verge to squeal
She had her date today
And she had to look beautiful all the way.
But she somehow felt nervous
So she sat by the couch
Biting her nails
And shaking her legs.
The heels which she wore
Gave a clinking sound
As she moved her feet up and down.
The bracelets swayed against each other
As her hands continuously clutched the hem of her skirt.
She thought of giving up
As she got up.
That's when the doorbell rang
And her heart skipped a beat
As she felt a pang.
He was standing in front of her
With roses held in his hands
And hairs filled with white-colored strands
She smiled as he held up his hand.
Together they went for their date
Leaving behind a trail of 50 years of blossoming love.
