The Photo Album I found
The Photo Album I found
The photo album I found
Brought back so many memories
Of happy times and laughter
Of people and places.
Glimpses of my childhood
when I was just a toddler.
Delicately tucked in my father's arm
alongside my beautiful mother,
We made a picture prefect.
Now that I am a grown up,
The photo album I found
Was like taking a trip down memory lane.
All those fragile moments we had
when I was learning about this world,
where everything felt like a giant balloon
of magic and wonders.
Now those times are gone.
And all we have are
still phases of memories.
The photo album I found also
Reminded me of a time
When life was so much simpler for me
And not so simpler for my parents.
The more carefree I was,
The more careful they were.
That's how this equation turns out,
Isn't it?
Now we're all wise and some what broken
And life is so much more complicated
But it's nice to look back
And remember those delightful memories
And the silly anecdotes of life
Makes me nostalgic and proud
realising how gracefully we all
made it so far.
