When my thoughts speak.......

Born to a family, nurtured with care,

Blessed with a name,

That was expected to be rare.

Green grass around me,

Rainbow in the sky,

Felt like in paradise and

Never did I ask why...

I know change is inevitable,

That is true,

But how should I feel

When the reason is you?

I am a woman first, a daughter and then a bride,

So why should I hide?

Why should I hide my Identity

Of being me, myself, a woman -

Who had been lovingly named?

Beware! I cannot be tamed.

She doesn't need to prove her submission towards her husband, to the society.

She is independent, rational and at par with the man of her life.

Yes, she is a wife......so what?

Dear society, do not impose biased principles,

Do not try to control her wings.

She can fly, she can fly,

Yes, she can fly, really high!
