Love, she didn't know what it was, untill she was replaced.

Suddenly things turned to be so meaningless and misplaced.

She looked for him in the morning and in the afternoon,

She found him in the evening, underneath the moon...

Over that one phone call which she wished would never end,

Since she waited for the replies to the messages that she had send.

The conversation was so natural and bright,

The best part of the day that concluded with, 'Bye FRIEND' and thereafter it did not let her eyelids meet that night.

He neither said yes, nor did he say no.

But the cues were simple though...

Care, affection, emotional attachment, comfortability, compatibility, late night radio, early good mornings over phone calls, messages throughout the day, updates about daily activities

, still keep her pondering on what love is then...

An error in her Comprehension?

Many years later came he.

Indirectly confessing the same but now she has moved on.

Moved on in life still holding onto the glorious past, never to return back again.

Did he love then or does he love now.

She cannot hold onto it anyhow.

There were family pressures he said, that held him back,

Which he couldn't fight with for her skin was black.

Though the hearts clicked and the minds too,

But the skin was something that had the power to woo.

Difficult was the phase, that she had faced,

But her Love still remains the same,

Only the person has been replaced.
