The Fear To Embrace My Dreams

My dreams call me home, 

They want me to undo everything and follow them,

They long for me to even think about them,

My present life has made them distant,

My career is not my dream!

I dream of the sun, and the moon,

The flowers, the rivers, the sky so blue.

I cry, because I am even afraid to try, now, 

To even get near them.

They are scary, they are dangerous, 

To my 'so called' career.

They interfere! they will not ever disappear!

From my mind,

From my life,

And maybe that! is what I fear...
