A guy who woke up feeling quite absurd,
Turned into a bug, or so he heard.
Beneath the moon, he did a buggy dance,
Insect moves a comical circumstance.
From man to beetle, what a sight to see,
Kafka's joke on poor Gregor, oh dear me!
In hidden nooks, where shadows do the shimmy,
Gregor's now a beetle, plump and quite whimsy.
A beetle suit, a fashion out of spite,
Metamorphosis, the bug's in for a night!
In Kafka's world, where shadows joke and play,
A sonnet laughs at Gregor's wild display.
