Gems In The Garbage Heap
Gems In The Garbage Heap
It was the time of the afternoon
I was returning from work
The bright sun was bothering me
I was lusting for water
Looking here and there
On the spur of the moment
I saw some children
Walking in the streets
With their bare feets
They worn-torn clothes
They were carrying sacks
On their shoulders
Their eyes were
Gleaming with hunger
They were searching for something
In the garbage heap
With a gre
at passion
As they were looking for the gems
Lost somewhere in the junk pile
Their day passes
Roaming on the streets
Searching for the gems
Which enables them
To get some grains
Seeing them
Searching the gems
Forced me to think
Where we stand
The little children
Should enjoy their life
Who should study alike
To make their future bright
They were searching the gems
In the junk pile, to be alive
