New Beginnings

When I consciously decided to burn the past,

Capturing all pain in a Diary of Darkness,

I burnt the pages in a fiery blaze,

The rising smoke, carried away the Sadness.

I chose to gift myself a new beginning,

A new beginning and a new me,

All that I dreamt to become,

I decided to make them a reality.

Like ShapeShifter I changed,

And casted away my old skin,

Like a phoenix I was reborn,

A slate all wiped and clean.

A new beginning, a new rebirth,

The energies rising like a slithering snake,

I embraced my true self as it was,

Casting away all false and fake.

I breathed so fresh and felt so light,

Resolving all my inner fights.

A new beginning, a time for change,

A time to welcome the unknown and strange.

A new beginning, a new me,

A life to become fearless and free.
