A Late Night Call

Eyes fixed on the cell phone,

Waiting for a call,

From the special one,

Whom we love a lot.

The eyes move to clock,

Hanged on the opposite wall,

To check the time that is,

Passing fast every minute.

The fingers running on the locks,

With the secret smile on the face,

But still the eyes waiting,

For the loved one to call.

The constant turns on the bed,

With the pillow sometimes under the head,

And sometimes on the face,

But the teeth biting the lips.

LOVE CALLING! LOVE CALLING!

Says the phone and eyes shift to the phone,

The eager hand grabbing the phone,

To SWIPE green to answer it.

HELLO! Says the receiver,

YES, MY LOVE! Replies the caller,

And the talk continues...

Until the rays peep inside, through the gaped window.

A new day welcomes both giving,

A fresh start with opportunities,

And a whole long day to wait,

For the night to get a CALL.
