From My Childhood Memories
From My Childhood Memories
From my childhood lane
I collected a hand full of memories
Memories beautiful and insane
Making me laugh and disdain.
My lovely mini red car
Has given many a lot of scar
The snap of two year old me
Carrying a pup bending on my knee.
The frame of family photograph
Shows the bond of love care
Now has faded like a decreasing graph
For the distances the mind and body share.
The pictures are sweet and cruel
Sweet for it captures the memory faded away
And cruel for showing the present duel
Where the past out stands the present in every way.
