Koffee With Karan

It was Monday, no let me rewrite the Monday Blues - Monday and all of us at the office were anxiously looking at the clock to strike 1 so that we can rush to our lunchroom.

The best part of office day is lunchtime, when we all friends aka colleagues can chit chat, express our grievances, enjoy a full thali savory meal (yummy) and refuel ourselves for working in zest the second half of the day.

Finally, the moment arrived and we rushed with our lunch boxes like kids. Chatting, Eating, and laughing we finished our lunch when Trupti exclaimed at me, so Supreet what is today's lunch word? It's our lunch ritual to finish the lunch with an interesting word, puzzle, or personality test.

I joyously exclaimed today's word is Sobremesa, it's a Spanish word describing their tradition of relaxing at the table after a heavy meal. It begins after dessert is served and typically lasts half an hour, basically, this is done to help the food get digested while any physical activity is avoided. A good practice we should also practice, I smiled. Trupti smartly replied in that case Supreet where's our sweet dish? You said it typically starts after a sweet dish! (Everyone laughs) 

"Yeah good, you all reminded" saying Sonal offered the sweet dish she had attempted this weekend to all of us.

Wow, it's so tasty! Delicious everyone appreciated Sonal's culinary skills while she spilled the beans that nowadays her mom in law and she both together watch Masterchef and keep trying new recipes! So nowadays their bonding is also good. No typical saas-bahu serial drama. (everyone laughs)

"Yeah, that reminds me of Ekta's long-running serials on Indian television mainly the saas-bahu plot, any favorites?" Sunnanda quizzed all of us particularly looking at me( why me?  I wondered though).

I like Koffee with Karan, it's fun and entertaining, I remarked and everyone loudly echoed,  "yes even I like". ( All smile)

 Especially the Rapid Fire round, I just love that sequence Trupti said in a happy kid tone.

Just think if the Queen of television Ekta Kapoor and King of Flim makers, Karan Johar wed each other! Such a power couple they will be and will rule the entire entertainment industry, television and cinema! VOILA, just think. I exclaimed.

And then they will host together instead, "Koffee with the couple", Mrunali predicted. (All laugh)and we start weaving our thoughts.

Sonal: And in the history of its seasons, first time Ekta will be the host and Karan will the guest. And a wife will of course spill some coffee beans (Laughs)

Supreet: And the rapid round questions should be directed through a live audience so that the questions remain unaltered. 

Rishwa: A special screening of all celebrities should be there so that they can reciprocate to Karan now to realize how it feels when the seats are exchanged. 

Mrunali: But don't invite Kangana, she will steal the show( Haha)

Pratima: Abhishekh Bachchan should be called, I heard he's a very good prank master in BT town.

 Supreet: And instead of coffee in Karan's mug we will put Green tea, that would be so much fun.Karan opting for a healthy life under her wife's supervision.

LOL, that's crazy! Trupti shooks her head.

Ashwini gets a call from Reception, she answers, "Yes sir...yes, I will convey" and hangs the phone. She then attempts to make an Aakashwani, "Design dept. "Koffee with Boss" is awaiting, your sir is looking for you all."

Everyone laughs and packs their lunch boxes It's 2.00! We rush back to our work with a happy heart and face!
