Khajuraho is an international UNESCO world heritage tourist place that is famous for its more than eighty-five temples of erotic postures of men and women engraved over the entire temple from outside walls and a few insides of the temple. There are very hectic aviation services of domestic as well as an international tourist at Khajarahoo in Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh. So many agencies are involved in aviation services directly or behind the curtain for the safety of aircraft, ultimately to all the passengers. There is an aviation meteorological office at Khajuraho. There was a complaint about some unserviceable instruments at the station. Since it was of utmost urgency, the head of the office asked the concerned unit to take immediate action to streamline smooth services at the station. There are many other automatic weather stations on the way, having some problems along with Jabalpur. It was decided to proceed on tour for taking necessary action. Since meteorological aviation reports are of utmost essential for safe landing and take-off of an airplane which is prepared and passed to Air traffic control round the clock. There were two officers, an assistant, and a group of “D” employees in the touring party. our officer had taken his newly purchased Honda city car.

We started early in the morning to proceed on tour to Khajuraho. It was far away from Nagpur, about 600 km. we reached Khajuraho in the late evening. We stayed there in the hotel. Early in the morning, we awake and got ready to go to the meteorological station. we already informed the station in charge about our arrival at the station. He was also awaiting us. All of us first checked the system problem. After checking, we came to conclusion about faults. We check all connections from the tower of the building to the office where all instruments were installed. It took an afternoon to rectify the fault. Then it was kept under supervision. So the next day, we went to see a group of monuments. It was really wonderful to see such a huge number of engraved temples of Hindu and Jain religions. We tried to know about much of its history.

It was actually the religious capital of the Chandela dynasties. They ruled on it for more than five centuries. It was part of the ancient civilization of India. It is the combination of Hindu as well as Jain temples of a shiv, Vishnu, all gods of Hindu and Jain religions. There are about eighty-five temples. There’re many temples in all parts of India, particularly in the southern peninsula of India where we observed engraved culture of local as well as of ancient India. It was said that the Chandela dynasty was very prosperous with a vey sound economy. Therefore, people were interested often in cultural and religious activities. But all the temples in Khajuraho are engraved with virile men, voluptuous women, cavort and copulate in most pictures. At least it would take a hundred years for its completion. Then how the entire plan was being circulated from one generation to another generation. The workers and planners got it done by the skin of their’s teeth. We were utmost happy. we enjoyed the Khajuraho tour. We completed our target of the station. On the next day, we proceed for Jabalpur. Attending the weather station on the way.

We reached Jabalpur. Then in the morning hours, we started our work at aviation station Jabalpur. Faults in instruments were rectified. Check all official records and note down the requirement of the office. The next day we plan to see the famous Bhedaghat. We reached first to see the famous Dhuaandhar waterfall. Really it is one of the most wonderful waterfalls that I have seen up till now. The stream of water gets separated into different small currents because of several stones and rocks in the basin of the river. The force of coming stream into deep natural wells situated throughout the basin in lengths and breadths. The water looks like milk due to its strong currents resisted at several points during its course. There is beautiful noise due to different running streams for the tourist to enjoy the natural song. The view of the basin with these natural activities makes every tourist happy and joyful.

Then, our next target was to see Bhedaghat. The characteristics of this place are that there are very high marble rocks on both banks of the holy Narabada river. Within these rocks, there is high marble rocks valley through which a holy Narmada river flows. The water of the basin is very quiet, steady, and calm. There are many ships at picnic spot which carries the tourist through this high marble rocks valley. These rocks have taken different shapes due to the continuous friction of water and air currents. Drivers of the ships have given different names from the film industry and history to these rocks on either side of the river. They narrate it, just like the stanzas of the poem. Which feels very melodious, rhythmic song. This is at least one hour journey for the tourist. During this journey, everybody enjoys the natural beauty of the marble rock valley. The next day we came back to our main office. We killed two birds with a single stone by doing our job sincerely and seen valuable tourist places in India.
