The sight of the fireplace brings about strange memories to my mind. Something that can't be expressed in words. It was so strange that even I couldn't comprehend it clearly to date. If you ask me what it was I would say that it was love, lust, care, ecstacy all combined in the events that took place one night. Let me narrate it to you, the bizarre incidence that happened to me that night, 5 years ago.

I was a 20-year-old college at that time who was studying in the glamorous city of Mumbai. I was on a visit to my home town when the incidence took place. My grandmother who was a widow used to live alone in our ancestral home which was located in a tribal area. I had been to my friend's house to attend her birthday party and it was late when I returned. My grandmother had warned me to return home early but I hadn't cared to listen to her. It was already midnight and I was driving my car back home. The lo

nely road was bathed in darkness but I was driving carelessly.

Suddenly, my car broke down in the middle of a desolate road. Now I was really terrified. I gathered some courage and stepped out of the car. My stilettos made a clanking noise as I walked on the road. I opened the bonnet and looked. Then I realized that I needed a mechanic. I thumped my fist as I was exasperated. The rain began to fall down and drenched my clothes wet. My drenched clothes were sticking to my svelte frame and I looked around for help. At that point, I realized that a pair of eyes were looking at me from behind the trees. Then a gigantic figure of an apparition crawled from behind the trees. I was petrified as I saw him approaching. I ran towards my car but before I could reach the car, his huge bulky arms were around me. The sight made me faint and when I woke up he was gone. I still think whether he was for real or a ghost.
