‘I don’t know what you are talking about!’ I screeched. ‘Where am I? Let me out!’

‘Calm down, girl.’ The so-called king said, in a slightly-hoarse voice. ‘Your world is in danger. You have to help us to protect it.’

‘Why meeeeee?’ I wailed. I sounded stupid, like a child. ‘I don’t want to protect the world. I don’t want to be a hero!’

‘Jasmine, calm down.’ Blade said, in his gravelly calm voice.

‘DO NOT CALL ME JASMINE!’ I stomped my foot, and flames sputtered on the carpet.

I don’t know how I set things on fire. First the paper, and now THIS. I really don’t.

Then, my eyesight became blurry, and I collapsed.

I opened my eyes and groaned. What had just happened??

I wanted to rub my eyes with my hands when I noticed that my hands weren’t free.

They were in chains.

I yanked at them, trying to free myself, but it didn’t work.

The floor beneath my legs was cold. I looked around, trying to figure out where I was.

There were bars in front of me.

I was in a prison cell.

Sorry, I know this chapter is really short.... but I was feeling lazy, so.......
