Teja: The Journey Of Love-

Ramanujam Iyer is an orthodox Brahmin living in the outskirts of Peelamedu, near to Coimbatore district. He is an ethical and honest man in the place and a retired DSP of Coimbatore district.

For Ramanujam, every one of them wants to be responsible and sincere in their work. Ramanujam is a widower and has an only son named, Akhileshwaran, who is like his friend other than being a son. Akhil is a carefree and happy-go-lucky student in PSG arts and science. Besides being like such, he is the topper of the college and is well-respected by his friends, which Akhil dislikes because, he needs everyone to be happier and jolly, besides respecting.

Akhil is also a part of NCC and played a vital role in Writing short-stories. However, unbeknownst to all, Akhil often has a deep psychological disturbance and whenever, he remembers or sees tragic news of bomb blasts or riots based on caste, Akhil goes furious and he has to be controlled by his father through the white thread, which Brahmins use to wear in their body.

Only because of that, Akhil gets controlled, and having been adored by it, he controls his anger in the college and makes everyone happier. Now, he is a second-year student in the college. Akhil's classmate Harini, a Brahmin girl from Thondamuthur, is his close friend.

When he saw her in the college, Akhil recalls his life before one year and also tells that "He is not the son of DSP Ramanujam Iyer and indeed, hails from Pollachi, the son of a most-respected man named Rathnaswamy Gounder."

Akhil is a middle-class guy and was studying in the Erode district, where he and his family were settled. His father was planning to go for Pollachi once the exams are over, in order to take care of the farming as well as the cycle of violence in his village.

However, COVID-19 shortly comes and devastates both Akhil and Rathnaswamy, and the latter, Akhil is deeply affected because, his 12th leaves too, is a turn over twist like his other leaves, where he failed to enjoy. The duo(Father-son) has a big misunderstanding and conflict, thus leading to the break up of friendship and instead, Akhil says to him that, they are just Father-Son.

The friction between the duo further increases, when Akhil was unable to pursue his ambition. But, Ramanujam Iyer manages to solve the issues and they reconcile. Akhil will go to any extent if he doesn't get what he desires. For so many days, Akhil has never smiled at anyone and he was always angry and psychologically disturbed. At that time, Harini entered into his life during the online classes.

He learned that Harini's mother died when she was in 8th standard and is too sensitive. Akhil is friendly to her and her beautiful soul inside her heart attracts Akhil a lot. While many of his friends just see him as an asset to their own benefits, Harini saw him as her well-wisher and close friend.

Slowly Akhil fell in love with her and proposed to her on the 5th day. However, Harini rejects since they have been friends for five days. Hence, Akhil says that she can take her own time of one to two months and can make a decision and he will not force her to which she agrees.

Akhil is loving and affectionate with Harini on these days and makes her happier as much as he can, which somehow makes Harini to get attracted to Akhil. At these times, Akhil was suddenly asked by his school friends to attend a farewell party that was arranged by them in the Erode district.

Akhil agrees and also promises to them that he will come on that date, they have framed on. However, a sudden twist occurs here in Akhil's plan. Since, from December 16th to December 22nd, Indian reports said that the world will fall into the night because of a heavy storm and eventually, Akhil's plan is shelved by his father, thus making Akhil to think that, his father has been waiting to corner him at every second of a golden opportunity.

As a result of this, Akhil beats himself with slippers and belts as a punishment for being cheated on by his parents and when he was about to beat them also, he remembers how caring was his father before unlike his mother, who is always an opportunist. Akhil says to them that, he cannot be like them cheating, and since, they are his parents, he spares instead of beating.

Because, Akhil considers it as a sin and further tells his father that, he still more loves him a lot and hence, was unable to beat him and says, he will even beat his mother and not him at any time. Akhil says to them that, from now onwards they are not his parents anymore and they have to part ways.

Akhil is humiliated by his friends and this further angers him a lot after which he slashes his hand with a blade, in remembrance of the humiliation. When his parents ask him to visit Pollachi at least to see his ailing grandmother, he rejects because, he is not bothered about the relatives of his parents, as they are also his rivals.

At these times, Harini proposes her love to Akhil after realizing his caring nature, and they love each other sincerely. Akhil refuses to accompany his parents, keeping in the mind of the past. After they go, Akhil feels lonely and hence, calls Harini to his house in order to relive himself.

Harini was initially afraid but, later agrees and meets Akhil. Akhil and Harini have some memorable moments and at that time, Akhil accidentally kisses Harini which, makes her get attracted sexually and both end up sleeping. At that time, Akhil was informed that a bomb blast occurred in Pollachi. His entire family was killed in the blasts.

Akhil makes arrangements for Harini to reach her house safely and he goes to Pollachi, where he sees his family's dead body and feels shattered. Some days later after the cremation, Ramanujam Iyer, shows a diary of Akhil's father, which he had written during the periods of the conflict between Akhil and his father.

Whenever Rathnaswamy was upset, he used to share his thoughts with Ramanujam, and only through that, he had learned how much he loves Akhil and how friendly were they! Akhil learns that his father loved him a lot in spite of their enmity and learns that, his father saw Akhil as an inspiration especially his ideologies of patriotism and vigilante nature.

Hence, he tried to implement his ideologies in his hometown where riots are common. Akhil realizes the greatness of his father. Rathnaswamy knowing that he will die wants his son to fulfill his last wishes, in which he wants the corruption to be abolished. When Akhil learns that, this is a political game for sympathy votes, he is angry and takes the sword to kill off the politicians but, is stopped by Ramanujam Iyer.

"Where are you going Akhil?" asked Ramanujam Iyer.

"I am going to kill those politicians uncle," said Akhil.

"If you kill those politicians alone, will your dead family come back Akhil. When we cut a tree, it will grow with the help of its root and stem. The same is here. If you kill those politicians, many will come like them because of the ideology that they had framed. Hence, the ideology is to be killed rather than those politicians. Think a little bit. Like your family, no other family should be killed. Your good ideology should reach the people in a better way" said Ramanujam Iyer.

Akhil throws away his sword and Ramanujam wears the thread that, he used to wear, in order to control the anger of Akhil. Harini later learns Akhil's tragic past and also his cruelty through one of his friends, who was angry for cheating them by not coming to the party during December.

Eventually, Harini breaks up with him, besides the please of Akhil and now, Akhil comes back to the present. Still, now, Harini is angry with him and refuses to talk with him. Though Harini loves Akhil so much, she is angry for being the reason for his own parent's death. At that night, Akhil heavily drinks and goes to his house, where Ramanujam questions Akhil's behavior and a distraught Akhil reveals his love story to Ramanujam and how was it affected deeply because of his worst behavior.

Ramanujam decides to console Harini and the next day, he meets Harini and reveals about Akhil's vigilante activities against the anti-leaders in order to avenge his parent's death and he is on a mission to do that within some days.

But, Akhil has already collected evidence against Sand Mining, Women Harassment, Corrupt people's dealings, and Black money that were swindled by the government. He is waiting to send these to the Indian Government through his fake email ID and in further also sends, some other cases like Pollachi Rape Incidents, The Religious offices in-charge of conversion for profit.

During the death day of his family, Akhil will send these through a video on YouTube. When his parent's death day comes, Akhil takes Harini and Ramanujam with him and he starts his questions and words: "Everyone used to tell me that I am mental and psycho. What everyone told was right! I was deeply frustrated by the present situation in our country. No unity, No awareness, No responsibility among the people. Why? And in further, there is no safety for our country's women. Our neighboring countries like Pakistan and Afghanistan are poor, but they have a tough law for their people. But, do we have that? Is the death sentence the right punishment for rape? Not only these troubles. In our country, we have anti-national political leaders and many others, who are working to destroy our country's peace. Until these are not noted, we will be standing backward while our neighboring countries like Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, and etc. will continue to develop, which were also poor like us. We have to take a lot more effort into our country's development, sir. Regarding all these considerations, now I am submitting this evidence as a PDF to you PM sir." Said Akhil and he uploads it to YouTube.

Having been exposed to the public, the anti-leaders including the ruling party are extremely angry with Akhil and appoints officer ACP R.Muthu Rathnam to kill Akhil by framing him in a wrong case, which they use to do as tactics in-order to shut the younger generations. However, Muthu is touched by the ideologies of Akhil but, is left with no way other than obeying the government and decides to arrest him.

Meanwhile, Harini's family gets killed by the henchmen of the Anti-political leaders while, Harini is saved by Akhil and in the scuffle between the groups, Ramanujam falls victim and is injured heavily.

"Uncle. Please come with me. Let's go to the hospital" said Akhil.

"No Akhil. I know I will die now. But, before dying, I am proud of you, da. Now, your father's soul could have come to peace. Don't give up your mission da. Jai Hind!" said his uncle and dies in his arms.

Akhil is shattered and later on, ACP Muthu Rathnam arrests Akhil and Harini to the reserved forest areas of Tamil Nadu-Andhra Border. Muthu Rathnam asks his assistants to get back to their office and he takes Harini and Akhil with him and shoots them in a dense area and leaves from that place.

After a while he leaves the place, the duo comes out from the forest and now, Akhil recalls what had exactly happened when they were taken.

Indeed, Muthu Rathnam had shot the bullets in a tree, in order to make his assistants believe that they are dead. Since his own assistants are dog to the government.

"You proved that you are the true citizen of this country, Akhil. Guys like you are important for this country's development. For the outside world, you are dead today. But, for me, your mission begins now only. Go. Take Harini also with you to a faraway place and continue your mission" said ACP Muthu.

"Thank you, sir. I have to do a lot of work on this country's welfare. My steps will be also for that only sir. Jai Hind" said Akhil and he goes with Harini while, Muthu arranges a secret way for them in the forest, which will take them to connect with Hyderabad and they can be safe.

Akhil becomes safer in a place called Secunderabad near Hyderabad. He is now a martial arts teacher and is a respected person in that region. Now, a number of young children are getting trained in Martial Arts with him and now, Harini is his wife. Akhil is planning to train these children so that, they can protect this country in the future.
