Weddings are a new chapter in each ones life.

Since childhood the wedding day has always been a glorified event.

Many girls start planning for their perfect wedding day even before understanding the concept of marriage.

As soon as a person reaches their 20s, relatives and friends start finding a suitable match.

Well some get to have their experiences, know a few people and find their patner on their own.

But there are many who have not found their patners as yet and the families arrange a suitable match for them.

So before the person starts to accept and discover what he/she actually wants, there are a list of suitable matches from others.

Everyone eventually finds a life patner, whether in an arranged marriage or a love marriage.

Everyone starts preparing for D Day.

Wedding day is a grand affair, with elaborate setups, perfect outfits and many pre wedding festivities.

The life revolves around that one event of wedding.

It seems like a fairy tale and marriage seems like the happily ever after.

But is it ever happily ever after?

The wedding is not the end of the story but a beginning of a new chapter, which nobody prepares us for.

Marriage isn't about having the perfect wedding with the best outfit and pompous celebrations. It is about having a companion for life.

A perosn who will be seeing you in your bad as well as good times. The one person whom you are most vulnerable to.

The pursuit of happily ever after is a continuous process. It needs work everyday.

Marriage is a constant dance between commitment, compromise and communication.
