No Title Yet XD

“Ellie!” my dad called from the living room.”May I see you please?”

“Yeah! I'm coming! Be there in a minute!” I got up, got dressed, and headed downstairs to find my dad sitting on the couch with my brother passed out in his arms. 

“What is this!?” I asked, gesturing to my brother sleeping.”What happened and why did you ask to see me?” My mother and father exchanged looks.

“Your brother woke us up early in the morning screaming and complaining that he couldn't breathe. We called aunt Lisa a while ago but she still isn't here.” My mother opened her mouth to say something but shut it immediately. 

“ Ohhhkaaay,” I said slowly. “Did he say what happened? Did someone attack him? Was it his asthma?” My dad looked at me like I was crazy.

“Since when has your brother had asthma?” he asked, slight suspicion in his voice.

“Since always!” I replied,” He just hasn't needed an inhaler because it's not that bad.”

“Oh…” He said “ I never knew that. Why didn't you tell us? Dont you think that's important?”

“Yes,” I said “and I’m sorry I should have told you sooner but nothing this bad has ever happened to him before so I didn't think that it was concerning. Did you ever think that maybe he ate something he was allergic to? You know he gets up in the middle of the night and eats things. Right!?” 

“Uh… That's news to us. What does he eat?”

“I dont know!! How would I!?” I yelled.

“ I dont know, what are we low on?” he asked

I walked over to the kitchen to check the pantry and what I saw horrified me. 

“Mom! He got into the alcohol!!!” I screamed.

“What!? Really!?”

“YES! Come here!” I yelled, “Come look!” My mother came rushing into the kitchen and almost knocked me over trying to look in the cabinet. 

“Why?” she asked, a confused look on her face. 

“I dont know….” I said, “ And I dont know why he would even think it's okay..”

“What time does he normally get up at?” my mother asked

“ Around 11:30 pm or so.” I replied “That's just an estimate though. Sometimes he gets up later like 4:30 in the morning. It really depends on the day.” 

“Oh well, we should keep a close eye on the cabinet and Jonathan then.” Just before she finished her sentence her phone started ringing…..
