Love in the Digital Age💝

Love♥️ is a positive human emotion. An emotion that connects not only two people of opposite sex, but also ties a knot between their families. Everyone has heard about the famous stories of the couple Romeo and Juliet, Laila and Majnu and many more! When we go through such epic love stories, we understand the weightage of love — how this emotion can drive people crazy! 

But in today's digital age, "Love" has a completely different meaning. Present day love includes long— distance calls, AI driven romance, High school love and many more!! Nowadays, people are extremely mechanical and are lacking emotions and empathy. Although Love marriages and true love continues to exist, but in a generalised way, it can be said that Love has become extremely cheap in nature. In the modern generation of digitalisation and social media, people are following each other randomly and are gaining followers. Social media is acting as a major platform of Love. People are getting interested in each other and are trying their best to connect with each other despite being miles apart. Long-distance calls, online messages, video calls are mediums through which Love is taking place between individuals. However, I personally, tend to develop a question repeatedly whether this is true love. And even if it is, is it long-lasting or just a few days of flirting? People are consulting various AI applications like ChatGPT , DeepSeek, MetaAI to convey their feelings to their future partners. Thus, a big question arises "Does their message originate really from their heart or not? Because one does not need to consult an external application to convey their heart-warming feelings". 

Recently, another aspect of Love has popped up which is "High School Love". In fact, this has become an extremely popular genre among "Children's Literature" nowadays. Teenagers during their peak puberty period are falling into love. After reading a lot of romance and scrolling through reels of romance and love, they are unable to control themselves and are choosing their better-half 's. Due to such high school romance, violent activities and degradation of academic results are becoming a common scene. 

However, tomorrow is 14th February 2025 — a date famous for being the "Valentine's Day" where people of every age try to spend some quality time with their life-partners. 😊💝
