Journey: From Being Medical Student to Artist Part-2

Welcome back you all ! Now, I am going to write next part of my story Part -2. Till now, You already know my character Sameer. How he change his life from being a doctor to an actor. How he left his small home town and now lives in a sea facing flat in Mumbai. Mumbai has accepted him ,Is in true sense? More in his life going happen which can break him if not cope up properly. Let's Begin. Hope you remind where we ended last part. Requested to read it before Part-2.

Sameer, is become household name due to character he played in his first show. He left that daily soap because he is like fresh water which can't stop at one place for more time. He applied for Master course of University of London in Theater and screenplay. Luckily, He got scholarship for this. He leave Mumbai and stay in London for 2 years for his Masters. After completing his master he become best version of himself more fine actor than before. He return to India and started his auditions for films lead. He soon got his first break for one. However, Movie didn't do well. One after another he got roles but the said part is he got films only from one of his friend who is director. Then, He did a biopic and it become his first blockbuster. People start recognizing him, start following him and yes start loving him. He got many more offers but those films were taken from him after official announcements. It become reason of embarrassment for him. He felt left out in B-Town parties. He was not called in many and more preference was given to star kids. He also got banned by many directors. He movies were shown on OTTs. He start avoiding media and lime light. He use to ride car alone on road, Use to cry from inside and started felling insecure about his future in industry. He was getting panic attacks. He has his new girlfriend who use to enjoy on his expenses. She tries to be kind and caring but on back using him as his tool of growth in life. She bring him in her flat, broke his connections with family. She didn't allow him to talk to them alone. He feels restless every time. He feels like negative aura around him. He lost all hope. 

This Bollywood's world looks very classy but it only good Infront of camera. It only works on favoritism. Sameer, struck in it and can't move out from it. He use to remember his mother. There were many defamatory statements about him is on social media like he molested a girl and has aggressive behavior on sets etc. Lockdown is supporting and taking him towards fear of meeting new people. His girlfriend left him and said to him that none live with him. Yes! Now things are going to in favor of him. Somebody going to come and change all the things. In Bombay, Mental illness is common in 6 out of 10 people but nobody wants to speak about it. There is a NGO "Mental health more than Wealth" which is working in treatment of many people, took them out of depressing phrase of their life. They have connections with doctors who deal with this. They use hospitals' data and find their new patient who wants them as early as possible. Till now they have saved 30 people from suicide. Riddhita, a volunteer there has team of three. She is shortlisting patient to work for them. She finds that there are two patient and one of them is in emergency. As, the kind of medicines is prescribe to him enough of show that he need immediate care. She got his details and search for him on social media. She finds him, He is none other than Sameer, an actor. She didn't know who he is before collected all his details and move to his house.

She was not allowed by security to go in. She requested and said to them she is from his home town, his school friend but not able to go. She waited outside. Sameer's cook went out to but groceries. She keep watch on him and try to go Infront of him. She shouted Dada, You forget one of your shopping bag . Then, secretively she make a cut on bag with blade and all pomegranate starts falling. She again help him and said to him," it look like I met you before, OH! yes on station when I lost my ticket and you stands for me when TT came in". He didn't recognize her but she said," I know in this age it is difficult to remember. She escorts him to Sameer's house and by looking at building's name plate. Exclaimed with joy! There is have to go. I reach Mumbai today and searching for this place. Thanks for bringing me here. You helped me Dada, Sameer is my childhood friend. We studied in same school, we used to come at each other's home. I came her to be an actress. He said ," he will help me." Please, take me in. He knows me. First, he hesitates but then said to guard that I talked to Sameer let me take her in. Now, She is in the house. As, the door opens cook takes her to meet Sameer. Sir, I bring one of your friend. Sameer, shocked and asked ,"My friend." Yes, she studied with you in school and also you both played together. Hey! Phechana, Who are you? I didn't know you. She said , come on don't joke. He is not change in childhood he used to do same. I am your best friend. We did much fun together. Listen, I don't know never met you in life, leave from here. Riddhita, shows him school group photo graph and said to him," now, you remember or not then, no problem I know you stars are not like as good as you show us on screen". How big actor you become that don't even remember your school friend? Fine I will tell people that he as changed and not our same Sameer. No, no! Wait, he said," you can stay and feel like your own house but stay away from my belongings." She takes a deep breathe and exclaimed, I am also not going to live here entire life, came here for some project and will even after one month. Let me, inform my parents that you are same like before. She called her team and said in his house and will start work from today. She went in kitchen asked what is in lunch, cook said, Sir, will take not eat but you want will make for you. He will not eat. What will he do whole day? No, make something like Pulawa. Aroma of rice spread in living area. Rice was served to him but he rejected him. She knock at his door and asked for permission to come in but he himself move out and said What? She said are you attending guest first time in house or you didn't invite your co- actors or friends for dinner. I am waiting alone here your are bond to come have some manners ,yaar. He sits with her and unfortunately starts eating rice although, it was very spicy. They chat a little and left upper floor for gym in evening. She go in his room search his room and try to find drugs which should be move out from his room but didn't find. She also went upstairs and went on terrace. She was roaming on terrace and sounds like she is more enjoying outside. The day ends and night arrived.

She went in her room and move out. She screams and said, not able to sleep properly in room . She feels like somebody is watching her and all. What decided after long discussions that she will sleep in living area. She can't leave him alone in his room for more hours. He can harm himself. She said if you don't mind may be this place is new to me unable to sleep, can you accompany me in hall. we will talk and remember those days. He said okey but don't talk to me just sleep. He also moves out. She intentionally open Spotify, and played peace giving podcast in which mahatma is talking about mental peace and believe that your mind will stable soon. She wants that he listen it had may be understands. Sun rays coming from window and striking on their eyes. They wakeup and then move to their rooms. He with his shake went in gym. However, She called him and asked for yoga mat. He gives it to him and she insist him to come do some meditation and yoga with me. Then, you can do your exercise. He go with her and do meditation. She help him. Then, they do sungazing and return inside. She moves out after 1 hour and waits for him to come out. As, he didn't come to check everything is fine. She intentionally drop borosil glass on floor. He opened door and asked what happened, everything is fine? She was sorry and they sit for breakfast. Today, they have omelet in breakfast. In evening, she was out and looking at badminton rackets. She asked him to come and play. He said no. After, 20 mins, he is there and they started playing badminton. All this is making him happy but it is not accepted by him. Like this, fifteen days, passed and every day in some or other way she makes him realize that he has no faults in him. He is as perfect as he use to be. During their conversation she use to share stories how much in trouble people are? How they deal if that phrase and now they are happy? So, he can relate things were going.

One day she was in his room and trying to remove all the drugs that he use. He enter in the room. He was angry and walk towards her with big steps push her hand tightly she drop box from her hand. He pushed her against wall and ask her what she is doing here? Some body pay her to spy on him. She tried to explain but she can't able to to explain. He move her aside her hands touch the ground. Her finger hurts and starts bleeding. he throws things on floor. She leaves in room her room. They both stayed in their room and next morning She moves out from it. She looks for bandage ,tries to open drawer and went in kitchen search for turmeric box. He moves in kitchen and asked cook what he made in breakfast? Shocked to see her. You are still here, I thought you had some respect and left from here .I was wrong, He says in sarcastic manner. She open lid of the box apply turmeric but can't able to do it. Sameer brings first aid box and apply antiseptic on her waist. She told him, If you wish I will leave from here but as a friend I can't leave my friend just because he was angry and shouted. He asked her ,"Why you was in my room and had my medication box?". She replied, if you want to listen then I talked with cook , Dada He said that when you were alone. you were not having your meal regularly. You use to be in your room for days and throw things. This disturbs him as, he is concern for you. As, a friend I can't leave till you become as you were. He stands Up and leave. Cook asked for three days leave he have to go to his house. She allowed her. Riddhita went in kitchen cutting fruits make fruit juice and knock Sameer room's door. He asked to come. She enter with tray in hand and serve him juice. She said her to come from his room and help her in making lunch. "Where is cook?", He asked. She responds, "He has to go his home for three days. he will come on next Monday". Till then, we have to make and sometimes we can order from outside. They make proper Indian thali for lunch. You cooking helps to remove stress and whenever I feel annoyed or want to divert from something I cook food. He agrees suddenly he received a call went out to talk, return back turn on T.V. and shocked to see rumors about him flashing in headlines. This is all done by his ex-. There were videos of his co- actors who shared that, Sameer has some disorder behave very differently. He ran in his room went in bathroom take shower. Three hours passed, he was inside bath room. Ridhhita tab on door and ask him to move out. He move out and hug her. Tears were rolling down from his eyes. Why this happened to me? Why all this? They treat me like an outsider but now in public they are tarnishing my image. People will hate me. Movies will not offer to me. How will I survive here they want me to kill myself. They will kill me someday. She was just listening. when he stopped she wipe his tears. Make him sit down hold his cheek in her hands and said, "look towards me". This will not happen, They will not win because people know who you are,. How grateful and kind you are. How you meet people. Your servants know. your friends know, your family know, I know you and yes your mother know. She is looking and you . She feels like she didn't do your upbringing properly that's why you struck among fake people. Please don't prove them right. It's time to prove your mom right. We will together deal with it. I promised you I will prove you right. Just do what I say. Everything will be alright.

He started leaving his addiction moving back to healthy lifestyle. Riddhita said," Sameer feel from inside that you are fine and then your brain sends this message to your body. you will recover." They together did meditation, play sports in evening and having proper diet. She said , Let's go on a ride." They reach in a restaurant, have lunch suddenly people recognize him. Girls become crazy and asked for selfie. She also took their photos. Restaurant arrange proper meeting of Sameer and people in restaurant. They talked with him asked their questions, dance with him and they all sing one of the song of his movie. People shower their blessing on him and said whatever, running in media we don't believe on it. You are our favorite actor. Riddhita, arrange goodies for them and they both left out from restaurant. Media with their cameras waiting outside. Click his pictures and asked some question this make his hopeless , nervous again. I shared that we have to leave however, Sameer didn't worried what is running in media because. Media will regret and media has blamed on many big actors. it will continue this. What matter is people love him. Riddhita did this all she already said restaurant to tell people that Sameer will arrive at there restaurant. Regularly asked Sameer to be active on social media post videos and photos for your fans. Riddhita one day lock him in his room and do some decoration in his living area. On projector share views and comments of his fans. His accomplishments. His various photographs. He moves from his room surprise to see all this feels positive and hug her, thanks her. His YouTube family is growing his regular posts make his fans active. Things were going good, Sameer was scrolling his handle and went Riddhita's room she was talking with her team sharing his mental condition that he is recovering and is fine now. Next Saturday, I will leave from here. She turned back and shocked to see him. He start looking in her wardrobe and finds her ID card. He surprise to see that she was not his friend but from NGO who works for people who are not mentally stable.

You lied from very first day. How you could do this? You should share this to me once but you didn't. I will do your police complain. Ridhhita said, leave me. You can not do this. My intention behind this was good. I am not here to cheat you or gold dig you. Just to bring back you again not track of life. As you know, I will leave today give one hour. Sameer, said," This will be right for you." He stops her and said ," Sorry, What I said. Yes, you took wrong but saved from from doing sin." There were thoughts in my mind that I will hang myself. The day when you arrived that day I decided that I will hang myself but you came. You was not my friend but now I want to be your friend. "Will you be my best friend?", Sameer asked. I need someone who keep me like how you did. I want to go on a vacation with you. Yes, we can go but in this house only. They became good friend. Riddhita leaving today. Sameer made breakfast for her. They eat together. He drop her back to his office. They use to talk on phone. One day, Sameer call her and said I want to watch my movie's screening with you. She joined her and from there they went at Sameer's house. It was full of flowers. Behind flowers, there were balloons on which it is written "Will You Marry me?" No, more dates, no more relationships just want to announce in public and want to marry you in next 2 years. Riddhita was surprised take some time move here and there, ask for a glass of water and said ,"Yes!". Sameer is reaching on new heights. Riddhita was also working in NGO. They are engaged and going to marry next year. This is how a common man fall in love with a common girl. They together make a common family.
