My Dad Superhero

Do you need anything? I will transfer money whatever you want just buy it. Nowadays, this is what my father says to while I talk with them on phone. On phone!! Yes because we live far from each other neither my brother nor I live with him. I will share reason at end. 

It is said that there is a special relationship between daughter and father. But in middle class feelings just kept in heart not to express. Earlier, whenever I call my father he used to avoid calls. We message less but yes we spend good family time together. Yes, we four. When I went to my nani's house he never call and talk over phone. I feel really not like this. I never put any whatsApp status on any father's Day. 

I wrote poem for him. 

Now he has started calling me. He picked my phone as soon as I call. Every girl is daddy's princess and dad for everyone is superhero. He is my life. Every time I check whatsApp to see his last seen so that I found he is fine. I have one more reason to say that he is superhero because he never share his pain. And that's what superhero do. 

In April end, my mother's oxygen level drop to 84%.My father rushed to hospital with to much source he found bed with oxygen for her but yes no doctor. He is all alone and manange everything from bringing medicines for her to be with her. He has no brother or friend or relative there for his help. He ran from one shop to another without food for more than a week at the age above 45 year. Just like superhero. 

He shifted her another hospital. He went so far to arrange oxygen cylinders. He did much hardwork for her. After one week of struggle she died. Yes, my mother died. At home I alone took care of my brother because he has moderate level of covid infection in lungs. 

We were at home and in mooring a call on his phone from hospital about my mother's demise. He didn't show any reaction on his face. As, he was at home. He said to me he is going to hospital. He did all her last rites alone. Nobody not even for shoulder to carry her. 

He took her in his hand alone, perform hospital formalities, went to nearby shamsham and give her last farewell. 

During this he was continuously side by side calling us asking how we are? What we are doing? But I didn't realise that he was with my mother who is no more. 

He came back home told me to sleep. Himself sleep. Then I got call, said to me how this happen. I cut call and said she is alive there is a rumor. At evening he tells now he is both my mother and father. 

Like a superhero he hides his feelings.

I was in shock how could he do this all alone. 

Hope you got to know why we are apart. It is not safe at home alone because he will be worried for us what we were doing at home . What if somebody comes.
