JAIGARH FORT: CHAPTER 3

    

(The history of Violence) 

Note: This story is a sequel to my previous story Jaigarh Fort: Chapter 2. It's based on Author's fiction and doesn't apply to any historical references.

28 AUGUST 2022

WEST BENGAL

After the cameraman informed about Jaigarh Fort: Chapter 3 to Raj Hegde, he is determined to go for West Bengal despite the protest from journalists. Since, the state has long been marred by political violence.

However, he is adamant to know what happened in Cooch Menar. Eventually, Raj heads to Bengal where he sees lots of supporters standing in a speech stadium hall, the next day(August 29). There he sees West Bengal Chief Minister Shabana Banerjee threatening the IJP(Indian Janatha Party) with physical harm for implicating her party in "false cases" of corruption.

"Today, they are calling us thieves. If I weren't active in politics or held this esteemed chair of the Chief minister, then, I would have called upon my sisters to rip the tongue of those who spread lies and rumors. Our party is being defamed. Till now, the verdict has not been delivered. No evidence has been proven so far. A media trial is underway. The 4^th pillar of the democracy does what the IJP says." Banerjee claimed that political parties are being intimidated by the ruling IJP through the use of central investigative agencies and the judiciary.

A fear came in the mind of Raj until his Bengal friend Mithun said: "Her remarks came after heavyweight party leaders like Pranitha Chatterjee and Anuratha Mondol were arrested in SSC scam case and cattle smuggling case respectively."

"What's exactly happening in West Bengal da Mithun?" asked Raj to which he started to tell what's happening in West Bengal.

ONE YEAR BACK

APRIL 2021 TO AUGUST 2022

Earlier, Shabana had also launched her Direct action day on exactly the same day when Pakistan's founder Mohammed Ali Jinnah of the Muslim league had launched the horrific "Direct Action day" against Hindus in 1946.

Initially, the slogan appeared as a harmless jibe against the opposition but soon started to showcase it's true colors. Shabana's party members made a wall painting in Bengal wherein she was seen hitting PM instead of a football.

During her election rallies, the West Bengal CM continued to provoke her party workers to retaliate against the central armed forces and IJP workers. Several instance of violence were reported during the various stages of polling. Following the declaration of the 2021 assembly poll results, Bengal was in the throes of horrifying violence as goons murdered, plundered and raped IJP supporters across the state.

PRESENT

At present, Raj Hegde is shown the reality of West Bengal and the plight of Hindus by Mithun. He tells him the reality of the state and how media is whitewashing it shamelessly.

MARCH 2021-AUGUST 2022

MLA Nagendranath Chakraborty intimidated IJP supporters in the state, "Hardcore IJP supporters, who cannot be influenced, need to be threatened. Tell them that if they cast their vote, we will assume that they voted for IJP." He further warned, "After the election is over, they will be living at their own risk in the state. However, if they don't cast their vote at all, we will assume that they are supporting us. It is only then that they can live peacefully in the state. They can do business or jobs and we will stand by their side." The lawmaker of this party unveiled his nefarious plans.

PRESENT

At present, Mithun said: "Last month, Shabana called for a jihad against the IJP, a radical Islamist term that calls for the annihilation of the disbelievers of Allah. She however defended by claiming that it meant strong protest in Bangla."

Now, Raj Hegde shows the photo of Mandakini Gayathri Devi and Shiva's photo. Upon seeing them, Mithun had tears in his eyes. Taking him to his bedridden parents, he asked Raj to seek their blessings. Then, he took him to Cooch Menar and tells: "Raj. West Bengal was systematically destroyed after the death of these two legends. They were really great da."

FEW YEARS BACK

1975 TO 1978

COOCH MENAR

The state assembly election 2021 of West Bengal was round the corner. Some called it as "Battle of Bengal." People of West Bengal have been claiming superior intellectuality and mature political consciousness for too long on wrong premise. Past glory and individual achievements of Bongs can't be generalized anymore. West Bengal has graduated in political violence, political corruption and goonda-raj for too long. Communist and Shabana's party have successfully destroyed the state in last 45 to 50 years.

During 1958's, Mandakini Devi's father came to West Bengal. She contested for Chief minister Rajesh Chandra Roy's political party. They won the elections. Under his leadership, he reinforced the foundations of the state after partition of 1947, got the Durgapur and Alloy Steel plant, Chittaranjan Locomotives, India's first satellite town in Kalyani, Digha Beach resort, expanded the engineering industries, set up engineering, technology, management, medical and other industries.

Calcutta and Javadpur universities used to be the prime universities in India those days. West Bengal had the IIM, IIT, Indian statistical institute, the Operations Research School, Bengal Engineering college, besides of course Presidency college, Saint Xaviers college, Scottish Church college and many other venerable institutes.

Calcutta was the HQ of Birla, JK, Bangur and Thapar and Tata. The grand Tata centre was built for that purpose. This was the vision of TATA's. Most of their investment was in Jamsedpur. Most foreign companies had their India HQ's in Calcutta. This was the reason Calcutta had best of the clubs in the country. It had the highest number of International flights, Bombay used to serve mainly Aden, Muscat and East Africa.

PRESENT

At present, Raj Hegde asked: "Then why West Bengal is like this now da?"

FEBRUARY 1968

CALCUTTA

Mega cultural show "Ashok Kumar nite" was organized in February 1968 in Rabindra Sarobar Stadium of Calcutta. It was a 50,000 strong audience. Dozens of girls and women were dragged out and their raped naked dead bodies were found in and around the Rabindra Sarobar lake over the next two days.

The CPM leaders(Anjali Basu and Co) called that mass rape and murder of girls and women as "the rise of the proletariat against the bourgeoisie" and justified the mass crime. One of the victims Anshika Jena escaped to Jaigarh Fort and met Mandakini Gayathri Devi. She said what's happening in West Bengal and added: "Princess. Calcutta started emptying. Aditya Birla was dragged out of his car between GPO and RBI, opposite Writer's building, thrashed, clothes torn, stripped down to his undergarments and made to walk like that to his office at 15 India exchange place."

"What happened after that?" Mandakini asked by smoking her cigarette. Shiva looked sad. Anshika cried and said: "Queen. With a crowd roaring in laughter and jeering, he went home and took a flight to Bombay, never to return. He took all his money and offices out of Bengal."

Angered, she immediately reached her residents in Cooch Menar with her men and Shiva. Addressing the public, she said: "Don't worry. We are here to support you all."

Looking at women victims, she added: "A women is the full circle. Within her is the power to create, nurture and transform. We need women at all levels, including the top, to change the dynamic, reshape the conversation, to make sure women's voices are heard and heeded, not overlooked and ignored. A strong women is a women determined to do something others are determined not to be done."

She motivated JK and Thapar, to work in the state. Mandakini's men brutally finished off Anjali and her co for supporting the mass murder and rape. This created a fear amongst Communists and Shabana. While sleeping with Shiva in the residency, Mandakini was worried.

He hugged her and asked: "Mandakini. What happened?"

"Shiva. We need to save West Bengal from destruction. If we leave this, it's very dangerous." She asked him to train a group of people to fear Communists and Shabana. Then, he started training a group of Bengal youths and trained them physically. Shiva became a notorious gangster and even went on to murder Masthan, the mafia leader of Mumbai.

Meanwhile, in 1970, a communist group gets killed in a bomb blast by Mandakini's men for instigating Sain Bari killings and Marichjhapi massacre in 1979. People wishes Mandakini Devi as their political party leader. But, she refuses and instead wanted, Swaraj party leader to become the CM of Bengal.

Those who tried to stop the functioning of entrepreneurs were either shot dead or killed by Shiva's men in the next few years. Left with no way, Shabana joined hands with Sanjay Raghavan and Priya Darshini to stop Mandakini. Since, she fears her growth will demolish her political career.

Drinking tea, Shabana said to Priya: "In politics, no one is permanent enemy or permanent friends. We are all here with some benefits."

With a laughter, Sanjay asked her: "What you are expecting from me?" 

Shabana looked angered and said: "I wanted Shiva and Mandakini to be removed from West Bengal." She is personally determined to kill them for killing several communist leaders and her own political party leaders.

Before leaving, she turned to Priya and said: "Look. Her death must be brutal." Henceforth, she called Rajveer Singh and triggered him to murder Mandakini Devi and Shiva. He killed her after they returned to Jaigarh Fort treasure for an important work. This angered Shiva and he brutally chocked Rajveer to death.

Upon learning Sanjay, Shabana and Priya's involvement in this murder. He brutally murdered Sanjay Raghavan in parliament, which feared Priya and Shabana. With Anshika's help, he learned "Bijon Setu massacre" in 1982. This turned him violent and he killed Shabana's men and Communists. In fear, she goes into hiding and begs Priya to kill him.

As a henceforth, he was killed by Indian Army when Shiva went to Karachi port with the Gold treasure from Jaigarh Fort.

PRESENT

At present, Raj Hegde had tears in his eyes. Standing up, Mithun looked at the statue of Mandakini Devi and Shiva in Cooch Menar. He says: "Whatever Shabana does, she failed to remove this statue. Because, she knew people will kill her if she ever touches the iron lady Mandakini Gayathri Devi."

"What happened to the entrepreneurs?" asked Raj.

1982 TO 2011

Within a month, JK and Thapar left Bengal. Like Tata, they are one of the top industrial houses in the country, today. Most entrepreneurs, most MNC's left this state. It was mass exodus of money and employment. Today no industrial house plans to start any project in the state. That being the dream that the Communists of West Bengal wanted to materialize, and there is no change in the present Shabana's government too.

Communists in West Bengal started their political anarchic power game from Ashok Kumar Nite in 1968 and went through Sain Bari killings in 1970, Marichjhapi Masscare in 1979, Bijon Setu massacre of 1982 to Bantala gang rape of 1990, Nanoor massacre of 2000 and Nandigram massacre of 2007. They destroyed the work culture and closed down thousands of factories in West Bengal in the name of Trade Union and classless society. Communists made West Bengal a burial ground in 34 years of their rule.

Shabana's rule of the state from 2011 till date has also infected the state with the worse culture of "cleansing of political opposition", "Cut money syndicate", Para-teachers, Civic volunteers, "Khela-Mela-Utsav" and migration of lakhs of laborers to other states after driving out of Tata Nano car factory from Singur in 2010-2011. Illegal Muslim immigration from Bangladesh was encouraged in 34 years of Communist rule and Islamic terrorism and Islamism have flourished in the state during the last ten years of Shabana's rule.

A big proportion of educated Bongs, who could not cope up with destruction of West Bengal, migrated out to other parts of India to other countries. One finds so many teachers, scientists, researchers, doctors, economists, artists from West Bengal in US, UK, France, Germany, Benelux, Scandinavia, but none worth the name here in Bengal. It was a mass exodus of brains.

PRESENT

"Number of beggars per hundred thousand populations is highest in West Bengal at present da Raj. The state also tops in number of migrant laborers, unemployment, political crime and crime against women in the country. This is the bottom line of destroyed West Bengal." Mithun wiped off his tears after telling this to Raj Hegde.

Mithun ensured Raj's safety by taking him to the railway station safely. The Muslims who came to Raj asked his identity. He said: "I am Mithun's friend."

He went without telling anything. Before Raj gets into the train, Mithun said: "Raj. Shabana will suffer for her sins I swear. I hope another Mandakini from Jaigarh Fort or other part of India will come to save West Bengal. Have a safe journey da. Bye."

After reaching Coimbatore, Raj submits the recorded video about West Bengal to his Chief Editor. But, he refuses to take the video citing problems from Shabana and Tamil Nadu political parties. Henceforth he resigns from his journalism job.

FEW DAYS LATER

"The people of West Bengal have been strangely watching this downhill journey of the state for five decades and will do so unfortunately for another five decades. One may see the state to turn into an Islamic state in near future. Just keep your fingers crossed. Bye. Myself I am Raj." Raj Hegde said in a video and published it in his Youtube channel, "Raj Answers."

While, Shabana meets Naxals, Congress and Communists to strike another deal to loot resources from West Bengal and laugh by telling: "These bloody Bengalis will continue to fight each other. But, we would lead a happy and prosperous life by looting their resources."

EPILOGUE

The already very bad situation in the state could turn infinitely worse. It is for this reason that it is imperative that reasonable heads prioritize the formulation of solution to the menace that currently exists.

SPIN-OFF

The Bengal Diaries will be a spin-off to Jaigarh Fort: Chapter 3. It will focus on the problems, the state is going through. So, it's based on multiples of real-life incidents, that I have studied and researched thoroughly.
