WALAYAR, TAMILNADU

In the afternoon, Commissioner Ragu’s wife, Dharshini, who was living in Walayar, was sitting on the lawn outside her house with her son, Mithun Krishna. There, she saw a stranger walking into the street. The stranger was 5.30 feet tall, with grey hair, a beard, a moustache, and a dress. His murmuring, look, and activities made Dharshini suspicious.

Dharshini didn’t think of that stranger as a danger. But she didn’t know that she was going to suffer because of her carelessness. Now she heard her second daughter, Aadhya, crying inside. Dharshini went inside the house. Noticing this, the stranger walked towards them, thinking that it was the right time. The time is exactly 4.30 in the evening.

8-year-old Mithun was playing with his friend Hariharan. The stranger hid behind the tree and watched this. Unexpectedly, Mithun looked at the stranger behind the tree, and the stranger called him by hand. He walked towards him with hesitation. After that, the stranger put his hands on Mithun’s shoulder and took him into the forest. After a while, without knowing this, Dharshini started searching for Mithun.

Now it started getting dark, and at the same time, Ragu came home. He came to know about Mithun’s disappearance. Dharshini said something about the grey man to her husband. She said, “Definitely he should have done something to Mithun, Ragu.”

Ragu immediately informed his coworkers. Now ACP Adhithya, neighbours, and all of them started searching for Mithun. Even though they searched all night, they couldn’t find him. But the next day, a volunteer team 100 yards away from Mithun’s house found something under the leaf pile that was half hidden. Now they went near the pile and removed the leaf. When they saw it, it was a dead body. It was none other than 8-year-old Mithun. There were a lot of wounds in Mithun’s body. The killer tortured him by beating him to death. With the elastic straps in his dress, he strangled him and cut the flesh from there. But Adhithya noticed a strange thing. Even though the killer did like this, there was no blood in that place, and it was very mysterious to him.

Adhithya didn’t know that when the killer cut his neck, he sucked the blood like a vampire. After Mithun’s body was found like this, hundreds of children went missing from Coimbatore. But police will only get the missing children's complaints. To confirm what happened to them or whether they are alive or not, like Mithun’s body, no other bodies were found.

Who is this grey man who kidnaps and murders children? How will he kill the kids after kidnapping them? And what will he do with the body after killing it? It is one of the most disturbing stories in my writing career.

ONE YEAR LATER

February 11, 2009

KUNIYAMUTHUR, COIMBATORE

Four-year-old Balasurya and Aravinth went missing. When ACP Adhithya came, he found that Aravinth was on the roof. Immediately, he brought him down and asked about the whereabouts of Balasurya.

For that, he said, “The boogey man took him.”

(Yes. (It was a grey man who was called a boogey man.)

Now, 50 police officers went to search for Aravinth. Within a week, a lot of people joined voluntarily in search of Aravinth. The count of people searching turned into 350, and it was the biggest search in Coimbatore. But even after that, Aravinth was not found.

After kidnapping Aravinth, Grey took him to a place where there was no human traffic. There he tied Aravinth and beat him with a nail thorn until he bled heavily. After that, he cut down Aravinth’s ear and nose. He tore his cheek from left to right. After that, he cut down Aravinth’s chin and dug his eyeballs. The most brutal thing about this is that when he did all this, Aravinth was alive. After that, he died without being able to handle the pain.

(What grey man did after this will be more brutal and bone chilling.)

A rumour was spread when the dead bodies were not found. It was said that he would burn the bodies, and hence, they couldn’t find it.

(But after hearing what I am about to say, you may feel that the rumour could have been true.)

After cutting some parts of Aravinth, he threw the remaining in a ditch. He cooked and ate the ear, nose, cheek, and some of the stomach with onion, carrot, salt, and pepper. He kept Aravinth’s cheek in the oven for an hour. To retain its original flavour, he roasted it with a wooden spoon.

The grey man said to himself, “I have not eaten this tasteful dish in my life.” He kept that stock for four days and wrote a letter to his lawyer. He likes killing children, but he also likes to write letters. But the grey man didn’t kill all the children he kidnapped.

There are children who escaped from him at the last minute. and they were all lucky. One time, the grey man targeted three children playing in the park. He went near the children and asked whether they ate.

The children innocently replied that they didn’t eat. For that, he invited them for lunch at his home. The children also trusted him and went to his house. Now to cook the lunch, the grey man went to the first floor, and the children were jumping and playing in his bed.

When the children were playing in the bed, they saw a knife falling from his bed. Seeing this, the children started running from there. At the same time, grey men also came there. He started to chase and catch them. But all three of them escaped from him. The children immediately informed Adhithya's investigation team. But when the investigation team went there, he was not there.

May 25, 2009

In the Indian Times newspaper, 18-year-old Anuvishnu put an ad saying that he knew farming and wanted a job. Seeing this, a 60-year-old Alfred went to Anuvishnu’s house at Kembanur.

He said, “I have a farm. The person who worked there resigned. To maintain that, I need a person. I saw your ad and came here. I will give you $15 per month. I will call you after one month.” Alfred left the place.

Everyone in Anuvishnu’s family was happy to hear this. Like he said, he went to Alfred’s house one month later. After having dinner with them, he played with Anuvishnu’s ten-year-old sister, Vishnu Priya, and he liked her naughtiness. He asked permission to take Vishnu Priya to a relative’s children's party. At first, Vishnu Priya’s mother hesitated. But Alfred said that he would bring her back safely. After that, they dressed up Vishnu Priya and sent her with him to that party. But it was the last time they all saw Vishnu Priya alive.

At that time, Adhithya didn’t know that it was also the work of a grey man. Six years later, after Vishnu Priya went missing on November 12, 2015, Vishnu Priya’s mother received an anonymous letter, and when she read the letter, she fainted. This was the thing that was written in the letter.

“To Vishnu Priya’s mother, when I went to Hong Kong, it was in famine. But even in that situation, they gave meat at a low price. At the same time, children under the age of 12 went missing. That’s when I understood that the cheap meat was human meat, and in particular, it was children’s meat. If you go and ask for a soup there, they will ask you which part of the soup you want, and that meat is missing from the children’s meat. Ask about that back part of the meat. Because it will be tastier than others. Do you know why it was so tasty? One day, I kidnapped and killed two 11-year-old boys. I boiled their skin and ate. It was so tasty. To get that taste again, I killed the children and removed their skin. I beat that for a long time. Only then will the meat be tender while eating. Leaving the head, bones, and intestines, I boiled and ate the rest of the flesh parts. Do you remember? On June 3, 2009, Sunday, I bought pot-seeds and strawberries and came to visit you. We even had lunch together. Vishnu Priya sat on my lap and kissed me. At that time, I decided on one thing. I will take care of Anuvishnu another time. Since his body is fit like an athlete’s body, his meat will be tastier. But I need a lot of energy to kill him. So I changed my plan. I thought of cooking Vishnu Priya first. I lied to you about the party and took Vishnu Priya to an abandoned house. I went naked in front of her when she was picking flowers. To avoid the splattering of blood in my dress while cutting her. When she saw me like that, she tried to escape and run from me. But I caught her. She threatened me by saying your name. I smiled and killed her. After that, I cut her into small pieces and took her to the house, cooked it, and ate it. Your daughter’s meat was so sweet, tender, and nice. It took nine days to finish it. But don’t worry. I didn’t rape her.” Like this, Vishnu Priya’s mother completed reading this letter.

In that poem, the grey man wrote how brutally he killed and ate Vishnu Priya.

How Vishnu Priya’s mother felt as a mother when she read it During that time, Adhithya noticed a NYB CBA emblem in that letter. It is a private company in Coimbatore. He went to that company immediately. First, Adhithya suspected a janitor. When his team investigated, they came to know that it was another person who had worked there before. It was grey, man.

When Grey Man was working, he stole a letter pad from the janitor and wrote the letter on the pad. To bring him there, the manager called him to get a check in his name. To catch him, Adhithya’s team hid in the manager’s room. After a while, without knowing that Adhithya’s team was waiting for him, he casually came there to get the check.

When the police saw Grey, they caught him from the back. Immediately, he tried to take the knife and stab the officer. But the officer pushed the knife away and arrested him. Finally, Grey was arrested.

In the prison cell, Adhithya investigated Grey and asked for his original name. He said, “My name is Albert Hamilton.”

Albert Hamilton was born in May 1965. He was born as the fourth child to Randall and Ellen. His father is 43 years older than his mother. When he was born, his father was 75 years old. His father died when he was five.

Albert had a younger brother, and since he died of a mental illness, in memory of his brother, his name was changed to Albert. Albert’s mother had a mental illness named schizophrenia. Since it was a genetic disease, it was there for the other children as well.

It was very hard for his mother to raise Albert after his father’s death. She sent Albert to an orphanage. All the orphanages in the 20th century were horrible. It was like that kind of place when Albert went there. He was five years old. How horrible that place was means that if a kid makes a mistake, they will tie them nakedly and beat them in front of other kids. They will insult them before other kids, and it has also happened to Albert many times.

At first, he was depressed, but gradually he went on with it. At first, he enjoyed the pain of other kids. But later, he started enjoying his pain as well. In 1974, when Albert was 9 years old, his mother got a government job. She took Albert from the orphanage and kept him with her again. Even though he came home again, he couldn’t come out of the physical and mental problems.

Albert is 12 years old now, and he has a friend. He taught him how to eat his own food. Albert is now 28 years old, and he was married to a girl named Anna Mary. They had six children. When he was eating with his family, Albert was very weird and ate raw meat.

He beat himself with a thorn rope, and Albert also had hallucinations of talking to someone else. In 1998, his wife divorced him because of his weird behavior. But she left the children with Albert. Without being able to accept the separation of his wife, he rolled himself in a carpet and made his children beat him with a nailed wood. He injected himself in the hip region and found happiness in his own suffering. Albert lived like a pure sadist.

Now Adhithya came to know about his past life at present through Albert. On March 11, 2016, a trial started in court. When they checked him with a psychiatrist in the trial period, the psychiatrist said: “Albert has thirteen types of psychological problems, and he is an imposter of a pure psycho. No one can have the same problem as Albert.”

When they questioned him, he didn’t sit straight. When the psychiatrist asked about it, he said, “There were a lot of needles in his hip, and it was painful."Since I liked it, I left it like that.” At first, Adhithya thought that he was lying. But when they took the x-ray, they came to know that it was true.

Like he said, there were 29 needles in his body. Since half of the needles were there for a long period of time, they were rusted.

Adhithya asked Albert, "Why did you kill hundreds of children?”

Albert smiled for that and said, “ACP Adhithya. It was not a hundred. I killed 400 children.” Normally, to threaten others, serial killers will give a hype about their killing method and count. Albert also said it like that.

Adhithya confirmed that the count was 100 and not 400. To escape the punishment, Albert started projecting himself as mentally unstable.

He said to Adhithya, “A voice will come from my mind, sir. I killed the children because of the voice. It was God’s voice, sir.” To check whether he really knows what is right or not and to check whether he is mentally unstable, they brought two psychiatrists.

In the result, they said, “His religion is the best thing to check whether a person is mentally stable or not. His religious belief was alright, and his guilt was responsible for it. Beyond all this, Albert killed other kids. But not his kids. From this, we can know that he can judge what is right and wrong. He has the ability to separate good from bad. So he was eligible to get the punishment.”

On January 16, 2017, the time was exactly 10.30 in the morning. Prison guards went to Albert’s cell.

Albert said, “I don’t know why I am here.” He walked with them. Adhithya brought Albert to another room and made him sit in a chair. They strapped his hands and legs to the chair. Albert is sitting in an electric chair now. Since then, he has been given an electrocution punishment by the High Court and the Supreme Court of India.

They were shocked. But Albert was still alive. But again, they pressed the button, and there was no movement in his body. Doctors checked his heartbeat. It was not throbbing, and they confirmed his death.

"Albert, who killed hundreds of kids, was executed.” The police said loudly.

EPILOGUE

The reason for most serial killers is their past lives and childhood. Albert Fish’s experience in the orphanage triggered him to do this. Even though he knows what is right or wrong, We can understand that he didn’t kill his own children. Among all the serial killers in this world, he is the most dangerous serial killer.
