Hidden

  Sundeep was so worried. After all, he had done something that was not his cup of tea. He was so happy with a lovely family consisting of his beautiful wife Neeta and an even more beautiful daughter Ruchi. Life was moving at a roller coaster speed and everyone was happy and healthy. But,one wrong step and everything came crumbling down. First his conscience and then his peace of mind were at stake. He kept cursing himself for what wrong he had done and on top of it this was a dark secret that he could not share with anyone nor could keep to himself.                    

 When we get back to what really happened we will understand the soup into which Sundeep had fallen unknowingly?or else?About a week ago Sundeep's wife was so tensed up and was in a hurry to complete household chores before rushing off to School. The reason being her beloved maid had stopped coming to her place as she was affected by Covid. Maids are an integral part of a busy woman's life you see. Now this was a very serious issue. So,enters a new maid Monisha . She was more like a model than a maid I presume you got my point. Neeta was happy and ok with the new maid,her looks,her work and her behaviour.

Rest assured she got busy with her job and other things. A few days later Neeta had to travel to Mumbai to attend a workshop meant for teachers and their training. Now comes the real matter. The bell rings in the morning and Monisha was at the door. Sundeep allowed her inside and he got busy reading the morning newspaper. Monisha cups with a cup of tea . Sundeep was about to take the cup into his hands and the cup slipped by mistake spilling tea on him. It was hot and so he had to remove his shirt to wipe the tea from his chest. Monisha comes with a napkin and wipes the tea . During that act she was so close to his face that he was feeling uneasy. He gets up and in an instant trips and falls on her. This was something that happened unexpectedly and Sundeep was shocked All this happened so quickly that he was dumbstruck. Monisha was looking coyly and smiled mischievously.

Sundeep's heart missed a beat and he just pulled her towards him. Just as things were getting hot door bell rings and Ruchi their daughter comes back from her tuition classes as she had to get ready to go to School. Now this was God's grace thought Sundeep that prevented something nasty and untoward from happening . But this dark secret keeps on haunting even to this day. What happened to Monisha you must be wondering yes she left the work or rather was asked to leave the work and now only elderly maids are preferred at their house for the obvious reason. Neeta is puzzled as to why Sundeep is against keeping young ladies as helpers or maids. Let the puzzle be so for the best reason. So the secret lies in the darkness.
